Names I love; too granny or outdated?

This is just for fun future plans; just a heads up!

So there are a wide variety, a spectrum, of names that I like, ranging from quirky to unusual, to vintage or outdated. I don’t know why I’m so over the place, but I am, especially with girl’s names.

Right now, my all time favorite names are as follows:
[name]Susanna[/name] - [name]Suzie[/name], [name]Sanna[/name]
[name]Rosemary[/name] - [name]Rosie[/name], [name]Roe[/name]
[name]Joy[/name]
[name]Philomena[/name] - [name]Phil[/name], Phily–[name]Don[/name]'t even mind anymore!

[name]Philomena[/name] I absolutely love, and is probably my all time favorite, but I’m not sure if I’d ever use it… unless some crazy apocalyptic stuff happened, then I don’t care! Still, my heart aches for [name]Philomena[/name].

As for middle names, I for sure need/want to use [name]Ione[/name] for the first girl, and [name]Bernadette[/name] if there is a second (which I hope there is), as they’re my grandmother and great aunt’s names, and they’re very important to me, so I want to honor them. I really love [name]Joy[/name] as a middle name, but it would only be used if I had a third daughter. (My boyfriend’s great-grandma, who is very important to him, is named [name]Joy[/name] [name]Iona[/name]–what a funny coincidence! Unfortunately the Boy’s last name starts with an M and is so long–its rediculous and hardly graceful.)

[name]Susanna[/name] [name]Ione[/name]
[name]Rosemary[/name] [name]Bernadette[/name]
[name]Philomena[/name] [name]Joy[/name]

I don’t know why I posted this, maybe mostly to get it out of my system and to write it down. I do enjoy reading people’s opinions and suggestions though! I love nature, earthy, and old names.

[name]Feel[/name] free to tell me what you think!

I don’t think they are too granny and outdated at all, that’s what a good portion of the population are going for these days, so your daughter will fit right in. Go for [name]Philomena[/name] if that’s what you love.

I think they’re all adorable. [name]Philomena[/name] is the only one that’s a bit out there, but I think its fun and cute.

[name]Philomena[/name] [name]Joy[/name] is fabulous.

[name]Philomena[/name] is fabulous.

I love [name]Philomena[/name]; I’d call her Filly. I also have [name]Philomene[/name] on my mn list. [name]Don[/name]'t care for the others. There not bad but a too common for my taste, except [name]Ione[/name]

[name]Philomena[/name] [name]Joy[/name] sounds so sweet! If it’s what you love, go for it. [name]Mena[/name] or [name]Lola[/name] would also make nice nicknames.

[name]Susannah[/name] and [name]Rosemary[/name] are on my own list and I think they would be FABULOUS sister names! [name]Philomena[/name] is very nice too, but I don’t get the same classic, vintage vibe I get from the other two. All nice choices though!

Yeah, I thought about how awesome [name]Sanna[/name], [name]Roe[/name], and [name]Mena[/name] were together! (By the way, [name]Mena[/name] is pronounced [name]May[/name]-na, like [name]Saint[/name] [name]Philomena[/name]‘s is pronounced). [name]Suzie[/name], [name]Rosie[/name], and [name]May[/name] would also be cute nicknames. I don’t mind Filly or [name]Philly[/name] as nicknames for [name]Philomena[/name] either, even though it took me a little bit to like. lol To me the names just make sense, maybe because they’re all older peoples’ names; [name]Ione[/name] was my grandma, [name]Bernadette[/name] is her sister, and [name]Philomena[/name] was their best friend. And [name]Joy[/name] is the Boy’s great grandma’s name. I do have a [name]Susan[/name] in my family, and a [name]Rosemary[/name], but they wouldn’t be named after them, since we hardly know each other.

I’m surprised by how many likes there are for [name]Philomena[/name]! Thank you all for commenting!
