Names like Juno

I love the sound and ancient-yet-fresh feel of [name]Juno[/name], but for me the movie association is just too strong. Any other suggestions, boy or girl, that have the same features of this rebounded antique? Thanks, Berries!

I think [name]Vera[/name] qualifies

I think the recommendation of [name]Cleo[/name] is perfect. [name]Junia[/name] is also beautiful!

Also, [name]Gratia[/name] (gray-sha), [name]Livia[/name], [name]Portia[/name], [name]Petra[/name], [name]Sylvie[/name], [name]Phoebe[/name], [name]Astoria[/name], [name]Diana[/name], [name]Rhea[/name],

The problem is going to be finding something that is different but still familiar. [name]Juno[/name] is familiar because of the movie–the very reason you don’t want to use it. Equally ‘unique’ names aren’t going to have that familiarity so they may seem weird. Equally ‘antique’ names often won’t feel fresh.

@teacherma-- that’s a great list, thanks! I like everyone’s ideas, especially [name]Thea[/name], [name]Indigo[/name], [name]Diana[/name], [name]Astoria[/name] and [name]Rhea[/name].

[name]Sybil[/name]
[name]Thalia[/name]

[name]Juniper[/name] comes to mind simply because of the similarity.
I also like [name]Mira[/name], [name]Valentina[/name], [name]Willow[/name] for girls.
For boys, I think [name]Roman[/name], [name]Gregor[/name], [name]Tanner[/name], & [name]Otto[/name] work well.
