[name_f]My[/name_f] hubby and I both love the name [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. Unfortunately I don’t think it goes the best with our last name 
although I still haven’t ruled it out completely, I am searching for another name with similar feel that I’m hoping we can love just as much.

Familiar without being too popular
We like that it is traditional yet also feels modern

I love [name_m]Asher[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and I have tried so hard to get my hubby to use them but he has vetoed I like [name_u]Gus[/name_u] and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] but not sure I could picture myself actually using them. I also love [name_m]Leo[/name_m], but the flow with our last name is an issue with that name as well. Thanks for all of your great suggestions!!!

I like [name_m]Silas[/name_m], but my (very picky) hubby says it’s “too weird” which I disagree with. [name_m]Miles[/name_m] I really don’t care for but I can’t place why? I am definitely considering [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_m]Griffin[/name_m], but they don’t feel as special to me as [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. Thanks for your response!!!

Spunk is hard to define! I think [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is a great name, why don’t you use that?
I totally agree! I think everyone has a different idea of a “spunky” name. I love [name_u]Noah[/name_u], but I guess I’m a little turned off by its popularity, and my husband likes it but not sure he loves it. I really do like [name_u]Evan[/name_u], [name_u]Max[/name_u], and [name_u]Gus[/name_u] from your list, though I think I do prefer [name_u]Gus[/name_u] as a nn for [name_u]August[/name_u]. A personal favorite of mine is [name_u]Everett[/name_u], which is similar to [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] in your signature. I prefer it with the nickname Rett, which has a similar feel to [name_u]Theo[/name_u]
What about [name_m]Beau[/name_m]? Almost the same sound as [name_u]Theo[/name_u] without the O on the end so it may work better with your last name?
