These are a few names on my mind. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] was our top contender for a girl, followed closely by [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_u]Hazel[/name_u]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] was also on our list! We also liked [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] (one of my all time favorites!) but [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] was probably our number 1.
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] are newer crushes, but they definitely fit the bill for me in terms of style, flair, and vintage charm. Plus, they have intuitive nicknames (Romy & Immy) which is a big bonus in my book!
What other names would you suggest in similar feels/styles?
Side note: our last name is 3 syllables ending in -o. So, while I adore [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and other -o names, I’m always worried about the flow with our last name. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think this is an issue?
[name_f]My[/name_f] first thoughts are [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_f]Miranda[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], and [name_f]Megan[/name_f]
We have SUCH similar taste in girls names! My daughter is named Phoebe and my top three choices for a future girl are Harriet, Ramona, and Georgia. Also on the list are Imogen, Esme, Tessa, and Lucia. We have a niece named Ingrid or that would be on the list too!
Firstly regarding [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and your name I think if depends on how pronounced that o sound is for example if your surname was [name_m]Bayo[/name_m] then [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_m]Bayo[/name_m] is a little off due to both names ending in a pronounced o sound. However if it was [name_f]Margot[/name_f] Akintola or [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_m]Osmond[/name_m] then because the o sound isn’t pronounced the name works.
Anyways here is a list of other names that feel similar to your list. Please count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
Thank you! I forgot that [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_u]Florence[/name_u] are family names! I also need to add [name_f]Maren[/name_f] back to my list! Crushing on [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], too!
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] are so sweet! I like [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] but it has always been overshadowed by [name_f]Imogene[/name_f]. Names that are like these 3 I think you would like:
