[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all! I’ve decided to write a dystopian novel, and I’m having trouble picking names. I have a few in mind for my two main characters, but I’m not so sure if they fit. I’m looking for first and last name combinations, with the females involving nature or truth. I’m also looking for unique, out of the box names that aren’t very popular.
My female character is going to be independent, daring. She’s able to take care of herself. I picture her having dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She is poor. Some of the names I thought up are [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] or [name_f]Verity[/name_f], but It would be nice to have more options with first and last names.
My male character doesn’t come in until later. He’s strong, truthful, and has a soft side. He doesn’t want to hurt others, but can if he has to. He has dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. He comes from a background of very important people and is wealthy.
Hey!
When I was reading about your female character, my first thought was the name [name_f]Pandora[/name_f], but that might not be exactly your cup of tea. Would you happen to have more information on your characters that you could provide? I’d love to be of help, if I can!
I picture her being very curious. She lacks self confidence in some areas and is able to see color in a dull world. She’s brave and isn’t afraid of much.

I really like [name_f]Verity[/name_f], actually. It has a good amount of punch to it. It also means ‘[name_u]Truth[/name_u],’ which could be fun to play with thematically.
The first thing that came to mind with your male character was Romig, pronounced [name_f]Roe[/name_f]-mihg. If anything else jumps to mind I’ll hop back in with more.

Good luck with your novel!
You could always name the character [name_u]True[/name_u] [name_m]Winters[/name_m], and for the boy, [name_u]Ash[/name_u] [name_m]Forest[/name_m], or look up names and surnames that could fit the characters. Also, are they going to be possible friends? That’d be interesting.
