So i have a problem. I’m writing the story that has to do with the psyche, censorship, and “seeing is believing” (that’s the easiest way to put it). It’s like the thought police from 1984 taken to the next level. And i have three main characters, [name_f]Iris[/name_f] (like the part of the eye) is the leading lady and then there is [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] (is the most superior cervical vertebra of the spine). The third guy has no name at the moment; I need help solving that problem. [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] and “No-name” are brothers. No-name is the eldest. No-name is is the quiet/“stoic” type, i will admit it as a cliche, but that’s the only real bit about him that’s cliche (fingers crossed). I don’t want the name to be too IN YOUR FACE. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] are normal names in every day life. But try putting “brain/psychological related names” in google search and you will get nothing favorable for my needs.
This is quite the challenge. I really had to stretch with some of these, but I hope these help.
[name_f]Cera[/name_f]; Kind of a play on cerebral/cerebellum/other cere- words.
[name_u]Gray[/name_u]; As in gray matter.
[name_m]Templeton[/name_m]; Temporal lobe.
Hippocrates; Hippocampus
[name_m]Basil[/name_m]; A play on basal ganglia
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]; A play on Cerebellum
[name_m]Ponce[/name_m]; A play on Pons
[name_m]Callum[/name_m]; Kind of a mush of the latter part of Corpus Callosum.
If none of these work for you, maybe you might try looking up famous neuroscientists and the like?
I like the suggestion of [name_m]Basil[/name_m] and also [name_u]Gray[/name_u]!
