Names related to a hummingbird

The day before my grandfather passed away in late [name_u]September[/name_u], we saw a hummingbird in the window. Where we live, they migrate long before [name_u]September[/name_u], so we thought that odd. [name_u]Ever[/name_u] since then, I’ve been seeing hummingbird pictures everywhere, including twice just today. Looking for names that could be related to hummingbirds! Thank you

Oh my goodness, thank you all so much for your wealth of knowledge and many ideas. I was not expecting so much feedback, since I was so stumped and figured there couldn’t be too many names related to hummingbirds. I will definitely be looking over all of these. Ruby is very fitting because we have the ruby throated hummingbirds around here. Also just remembered it means ‘gentle protector’.

Your idea of [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] just sparked an idea: Rubies are red…I could find names that mean red or have red in them like [name_m]Redmond[/name_m] which is my favourite right now :sparkling_heart:
