Names Similar to Jean?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] All,
I need help! [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is a very significant name in my family (it’s my middle name, my mother’s middle name, my grandmother’s middle name and my great-grandmother’s first name!) and I was always dead set on using it for my daughter. However, my partner’s surname rhymes with [name_u]Jean[/name_u] (ends with ‘ine’). So now, I am looking for names similar to [name_u]Jean[/name_u] but that don’t rhyme with his surname. Her first name will work around the middle name (as it is so important to me)
Any suggestions are welcome and much appreciated!

[name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_u]Joan[/name_u]
[name_f]Jana[/name_f]
[name_f]Johanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Jeanette[/name_f]

I like the suggestion of [name_f]Jeanette[/name_f], but in all honesty I would just use [name_u]Jean[/name_u]. Yes it rhymes with the surname, but it will be in the middle and won’t be used that often. The name is obviously very important to you so I would use it regardless of flow.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have to use your partner’s surname for your children? If you’re willing to work her first name to fit with [name_u]Jean[/name_u] (though not [name_u]Jean[/name_u]), why not use your surname to fit with the middle you’ve been dead set on using?

[name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] and [name_f]Juno[/name_f] are my favourites of the ones already mentioned!!

Maybe [name_f]Junia[/name_f] or [name_f]Jovana[/name_f]? [name_f]Jonquil[/name_f], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]? [name_f]Josiane[/name_f]?

Thanks for your suggestions everyone! They are much appreciated. I really like [name_f]Juno[/name_f]! I hadn’t even considered that one. [name_f]Jeanette[/name_f] is good too! What do you all think about [name_f]Gina[/name_f] or [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]?

dearest - My partner and I intend of getting married in the next year and I have always planned on changing my name, so I would prefer baby to have his surname as well. It’s something I’ve been tossing around though. Maybe a hyphenation?

I’ve also been thinking about two middle names - My favourite being [First Name] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [Surname]. Thoughts?
