Sigfrid, Kypselos and [name_f]Doris[/name_f] maybe?
There’s no need to self-denigrate! I think people just have different perspectives on names with these connotations, and didn’t mean it as a personal attack or to be hurtful.

@bridgeerr.bowie I don’t think you have anything to apologize for, and you definitely aren’t obligated to talk about your mental health diagnoses to justify your asking a question. It is an interesting question at and I’m surprised there aren’t more names that are connected to the human psyche/mind. It was not a creepy or insensitive thing to ask. Mental health disorders exist, acknowledging their existence and talking about them is not inherently insensitive. People ask all the time about names with specific meanings or names that remind people of other things.
This is tricky because the prefixes “psych-” and “schizo-” are pretty closely aligned with the mental health and clinical ways of thinking. You might have more luck looking for words that could be adopted as a name, or names that mean specific parts of the diagnoses (i.e. mind, brain, dream, voice, or anything else you associate with the words).
Here are some names or words I found that either catch part of the sound of one of the words you mentioned, or have a meaning that felt somewhat connected to them:
Hysteria (not the same diagnoses but sounds like a name)
[name_u]Michika[/name_u] (means “multiple”)
[name_m]Reito[/name_m] (also means “multiple”)
[name_m]Xenophon[/name_m] (“foreign voice”)
And some with the same-ish sounds but unassociated meanings: [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f]/Euphemios; [name_m]Osiris[/name_m]; [name_m]Syrus[/name_m]/Cyrus/Cyprus; [name_m]Silas[/name_m]; [name_f]Phryne[/name_f]; [name_f]Phrike[/name_f].
Good luck on your name hunt! I hope you find one that captures what you need it to.
I don’t understand the problem with this! I think it’s a nice idea to name someone after something you admire, no matter what it is.
Some name ideas
Vera
[name_f]Psyche[/name_f]

These names might not be a direct definition to what you’re looking for, however they around the area that you’re looking for.
There’s no need to apologize, you did absolutely nothing wrong by asking such a question. It was not a mistake, it was not a misunderstanding, it was completely fine.
May I just clarify I don’t say this question shouldn’t be asked. It can, that’s not entirely wrong. However, I would have preferred if there was a content warning in the title. These are very sensitive things and I believe it might be triggering for some.
And I’m not “criticising” or even “bullying” the op. Sorry if it sounded that way, I’m just trying make a point and I stand for it.
