Names that can be pronounced in Spanish/English

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone,

I am looking for boy names that can be pronounced in both Spanish and English that aren’t super common. My husband has a huge family and we are struggling to brainstorm names that aren’t the same as one of his siblings/nephews/cousins etc.! My family speaks English, so I’d like a name that can be pronounced easily in both English and Spanish, although the name’s heritage isn’t important to us. We’d prefer it not end in “-son” or “-ez” because of our last names, and not start with “R” because English and Spanish speakers pronounce R names so differently.

These were my ideas so far:
[name_m]Marcelo[/name_m] (he likes it, but it’s a family member’s middle name)
[name_u]Elias[/name_u] (he has a friend with this name, but I like it and I like [name_m]Eli[/name_m] as a nickname in English)
[name_m]Matias[/name_m] (he says this is too common)
[name_m]Callan[/name_m] (just found on Nameberry…thoughts?)
[name_u]Micah[/name_u] (pronounced My-kah in English and would be Mee-kah in Spanish so probably out…)

I would appreciate any and all ideas! Thanks!!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Marcelo[/name_m]!

[name_m]Andreas[/name_m]
[name_m]Paolo[/name_m]
[name_m]Alejandro[/name_m]
[name_m]Sergio[/name_m]
[name_m]Enzo[/name_m]
[name_m]Alonso[/name_m]

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] from your list!

Not sure of the popularity of these in Spanish-speaking countries, but…

[name_m]Adrian[/name_m]
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
[name_m]Dante[/name_m]
[name_u]Kai[/name_u]
[name_m]Kian[/name_m]
[name_u]Kieran[/name_u]
[name_m]Luis[/name_m]
[name_m]Lucan[/name_m]
[name_u]Nico[/name_u]
[name_m]Victor[/name_m]

Thank you for the suggestions!

My husband and I are in the same boat. We want a name that works in both languages as we live in USA but my husband in Colombian. I’d like something more unique but may husband doesn’t like to stray to far from the norm.

Boy names that have stuck in my memory are:
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]
[name_m]Diego[/name_m]
[name_m]Matias[/name_m]
[name_m]Mateo[/name_m]
[name_u]Cyan[/name_u]
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Nico[/name_u] short for [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]!
[name_m]Tiago[/name_m] short for [name_m]Santiago[/name_m]

Oh yeah and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] !

Maybe instead of [name_u]Micah[/name_u] spell it “[name_u]Mika[/name_u]”. People may pronounce it “mee-ka” in both languages then?

Some more names for you:
[name_m]Bruno[/name_m]
[name_m]Ian[/name_m]
[name_m]Rafael[/name_m] (sorry, R name)
[name_m]Luciano[/name_m]

[name_m]Marcos[/name_m]
[name_m]Camilo[/name_m]
