I have loved the name [name_u]Noah[/name_u] since I was around 12 years old. I love it soooo much and I had the whole name planned out for when I had kids in the future.
One problem; my sister named her son [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. While it suits him and I love that her name style is similar to mine (it’ll make things easier in the future, lol!), I am kind of peeved that she used the name she knows I adore on her child. So! Now I’m stuck. I really like [name_u]Mason[/name_u] but I just can’t let go of [name_u]Noah[/name_u], so I was wondering if there are any names that have the same feel? I have [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], [name_u]Micah[/name_u] and [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] floating around my list but I don’t have the same love for them like I do with [name_u]Noah[/name_u].
[name_u]Noah[/name_u]: [name_u]Noel[/name_u], [name_m]Adam[/name_m], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]/[name_u]Sam[/name_u]. I think [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] is great, too.
When I think of names similar to [name_u]Noah[/name_u] I think of
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
[name_m]Eugene[/name_m]
[name_m]Abel[/name_m]
[name_m]Adam[/name_m]
[name_m]Abram[/name_m]
I was going to say [name_m]Henry[/name_m] but that was already said.
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_u]Asa[/name_u]
[name_m]Jorah[/name_m]
[name_m]Judah[/name_m]
[name_m]Asher[/name_m]
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_m]Miles[/name_m]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
I understand what you’re saying about not getting that warm, fuzzy feeling about a new name. Sometimes all we need is a good association. Have you seen “Sleepless In Seattle”? If not, go watch that, and I bet you’ll like the name [name_m]Jonah[/name_m].
I love [name_u]Noah[/name_u] too, but I think it’s too popular for me to use in the future, so I have a lot of softer names like [name_u]Noah[/name_u] on my list! Sorry for any repeats!
