We have the “names that make you cringe” thread so I thought I would put up a more positive thread.
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f]
[name_f]Lileas[/name_f]
[name_u]Marley[/name_u] (maybe?)
[name_f]Wisteria[/name_f]
[name_f]Heather[/name_f]
[name_f]Clover[/name_f]
[name_f]Enid[/name_f]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_m]Aurelius[/name_m], [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], and [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] (they’re all so similar that they seem to count as one)
[name_m]Colin[/name_m]
[name_u]Taylor[/name_u]
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m]
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m]
What a lovely idea!
I’m less nameventurous than many here, so my preferences run a little more traditional. Names I love but don’t feel I can use for various reasons include:
[name_m]Phineas[/name_m] nn Finny - this would be my top choice for a boy if I could!
[name_u]Ari[/name_u]
[name_u]Gray[/name_u]/[name_u]Grey[/name_u]/[name_m]Grayson[/name_m]
[name_u]Keats[/name_u]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]
[name_f]Indigo[/name_f] nn [name_f]Indy[/name_f]
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Cate[/name_f]
[name_f]Bryony[/name_f]
There are many others; our last name makes anything ending in “er” or “s” sound silly, as a general rule.
My two favorite names (as of this moment) that I may use:
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_f]Ariella[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u]
[name_f]Love[/name_f] the idea!
Girls
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] (I can never decide which I prefer! I saw [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] in a [name_u]Berry[/name_u]'s signature as the name of her daughter and I love it to bits!)
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Electra[/name_f] (I saw this in a [name_u]Berry[/name_u]'s signature as the name of her angel baby. I just could not think of a more perfect name.)
Boys
[name_m]Lysander[/name_m] (I need advice - does this seem workable [name_m]IRL[/name_m]? I just love [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] so much!)
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] (girl) and [name_u]Gray[/name_u] (boy). [name_f]Love[/name_f] 'em.
But also Novalee, [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_m]Dominic[/name_m], [name_m]Blayze[/name_m], [name_m]Eli[/name_m], [name_u]Freddie[/name_u].
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]. The best name in the world.

The one name that really makes me swoon and which I find so absolutely perfect is [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f].
I find other names perfect too, I love love love [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] but [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is the one name that just tops them all for me.
I simply adore it!
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]!
Oh just so beautiful.
I am enjoying reading everyone’s favorites. Keep them coming.
[name_f]Violetta[/name_f] (Vee-oh-Letter)
[name_m]Maksym[/name_m] (Mackseem)
[name_f]Zhanna[/name_f] ([name_f]Zanna[/name_f])
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_f]Electra[/name_f]
As nicknames I’m very fond of the [name_u]Sasha[/name_u], [name_u]Pasha[/name_u], [name_u]Mischa[/name_u] set on boys. Not so much the longer versions.
Oh man…
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] - Common, but I just love the sound of [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] - [name_f]Regal[/name_f] and beautiful. Only concern would be that her siblings name have to be equally awesome too.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] - I know this is so common, but … I just adore [name_f]Emma[/name_f].
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - Can’t use, but it’s just gorgeous.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] - Swooon. I would love to have a little [name_f]Bea[/name_f].
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - Spunky! I like the sound, and I just imagine a sassy little girl.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - [name_m]Just[/name_m] swoon-worthy, is all I have to say.
For boys’ name I’m unsure. Unlike many berries, I’ve always had it easier with girl’s names.
Names that make me smile;

[name_m]Edward[/name_m] & [name_m]Deveraux[/name_m] & [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] for boys .
Another one for me is [name_f]Mariposa[/name_f]. I love the nickname [name_f]Posey[/name_f]. And when I picture a [name_f]Mariposa[/name_f], I see a beautiful, tall, regal woman who owns the room. [name_m]Just[/name_m] lovely.

[name_f]Marietta[/name_f].
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f].
