What are some non-classic names that you think work well on every age and every personality?
For example, I personally think that a lot of the grandma/grandpa chic names that are super popular on here, stunning and darling as they are, wouldn’t work super well on people ages from teens-50s/60s (It does absolutely depend on the person wearing it, though! Those names just tend to have a very preconceived person in my mind).
I think
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Rachel[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f]
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and any [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] name like [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]
Any flower name like [name_f]Gardenia[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Cynthia[/name_f]
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Evie[/name_f]
[name_u]Willow[/name_u]
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f]/Margot
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f]
Any gem stone name like [name_f]Sapphire[/name_f] and [name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Odette[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f]
[name_f]Valerie[/name_f]
[name_f]Hermione[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Winifred[/name_f]
[name_f]Tess[/name_f]/Tessa
[name_f]Leanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Leah[/name_f]/Lia
[name_f]Olympia[/name_f]
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f]
Kara / [name_f]Cara[/name_f]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]
[name_f]Petra[/name_f]
[name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_u]Wyatt[/name_u]
I can see these names on any age (my test is baby? teen? working adult? senior citizen?) and having any personality (my test is “could this name fit a sporty, artsy, geeky, outgoing, and/or shy person?”). I agree that classics work for anybody- I personally think [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is the most versatile name in the world (and that’s a good thing).
[name_f]My[/name_f] test is the same I also include super vintage-y and also super “cool” people lol. And yes, [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is 100% one of the most versatile names!
My instinct was [name_f]Afton[/name_f] (g) and [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] (b), but actually they could both work for either sex. They’re two of my favourite non-traditional names that feel both fashionable and sophisticated; I can truly picture them on any age.
Lydia maybe? I see it as non-classic, but I could definitely see a [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] of any age. I can see a lot of Bible names fitting well, even if they’re more unusual. [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], [name_f]Rachel[/name_f], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]/Noemi, [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Salome[/name_f], [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], etc.
I also see this with [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]—I’ve met a couple middle-aged [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]’s, though, so it might be easier for me than others.
International names I think work really well, too. [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Adele[/name_f], [name_f]Giovanna[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Anouk[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], [name_f]Polina[/name_f], [name_f]Anya[/name_f], etc., I could see on any age.
