Using the U.S. SSA list and a shuffled standard 52-card deck (physical or virtual, as long as if you use the latter it properly mimics a real deck of cards) here’s a game where you create combos with popular names that can be anywhere from the 1880s to the 2000s. Drawing one card at a time, create anywhere from 2 to 26 (halfway through the deck) combos with the following requirements: The first name must either be in the Top 25 at least one year of the decade, or its peak ranking (for the time the SSA list covers) must have been in one of the years of the decade. The middle name(s) can be anything reasonably plausible for the time period that you like. The value of the card (as indicated below) determines what decade you pick the name from, and the color (black spades/clubs for male, red hearts/diamonds for female) determines the gender.
[name]Jack[/name] = 1880s
[name]Queen[/name] = 1890s
[name]King[/name] = 1900s
[name]Ace[/name] = 1910s
2 through 9 = decade corresponding in the fashion of 2 = 1920s, 9 = 1990s, and likewise for the other cards/decades in between.
10 = 2000s
