Names to go with Daniel

So the hubby and I are FINALLY narrowing down names for our son who is due in about a month. (It has taken me forever to get him to make some decisions!) We have a general idea of what we want but I need some help/opinions.

With our firstborn we used my husband’s name as the middle name. This time I was thinking that I would love an honor name from my family, but overall my husband was not as keen on the names in my family I wanted to use. So he said he would like to use his middle name for our second son in some way. Kind of make it a tradition to use the Dad’s name as part of the son’s without being a junior.

Since his middle name is [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] and I love the name it is not a problem. Except we are having a hard time finding a pairing that we both agree is the best option.

We have it down so far to the following:

[i][name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m][/i] ([name_m]Lewis[/name_m] is a family name from my side)
[i][name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m][/i] (Hubby loves the sound of [name_m]Vincent[/name_m])

I am leaning for the first as I really like the idea of having my family honored since I am not sure we will have any more kids after nugget. But my husband is leaning towards the second. We have been unable to come up with any combinations that we enjoy where [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is the middle name and we think it sounds like a good sibset to his big brother, so suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you all can suggest some combinations where [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is the first OR middle name and it sounds as awesome as his big brother ([name_m]Timothy[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]) I would greatly appreciate the assistance.

Note, my husband and I prefer more traditional/biblical names overall, but like I said we are open to suggestions.

I dont like either because i feel like they both dont work together, but if i had to choose, i would pick lewis.

I think both are gorgeous choices. I love the special meaning of family names so [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] get my vote. I love [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] as well.

I would pick [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] because family names win over a simple “I like the sound of it” names. Theodeore nn [name_u]Theo[/name_u] from your list is to die for!

I prefer [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] purely because when I see [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], I think of the actor, [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_u]Day[/name_u]-[name_m]Lewis[/name_m]. It is not a bad association (or even a common one, probably) by any means though, and I say that if you like it, use it.

I vote [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] so your family is also honored. However, if the little one will likely go by his middle then it should be a name both of you love.

My goodness, thank you all for the feedback. Hubby and i are goong through names again tonight so getting suggestions from you all is helping to give us direction.
