We are expecting baby number 3 and we are stuck for names that match our daughter’s names! We already have an [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Annabelle[/name]. We want to keep with the 9 letter “theme” and prefer more traditional names! We are looking for both boys and girls names, any help would be great!
Here are my suggestions:
[name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Cassandra[/name]
[name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Christine[/name]
[name]Seraphina[/name]
Or you could always do a compound name like:
[name]Lucie[/name]-[name]Anne[/name]/ Lucieanne
[name]Emma[/name]-[name]Clare[/name]
For boys:
[name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Christian[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name]
There are so many good names with eight letters that I want to suggest!! good luck! Your little ones have beautiful names. I’m sure you will pick something equally elegant and timeless for B3.
For girls: [name]Katherine[/name], [name]Gwendolyn[/name], [name]Francesca[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Josephine[/name]
For boys: [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Jonathan[/name], [name]Sebastian[/name]
I do love the name [name]Charlotte[/name] but I know it’s top of my best friends list, she is pregnant with her 1st and is unsure if it’s a boy or girl. I don’t think I could ‘steal’ it. [name]Genevieve[/name] is beautiful but my husband says it reminds him of the dog on [name]Madeline[/name]. I think I could get him to come around though.
I have talked about it in another thread, I would love to use [name]Harriet[/name] but my hubby isn’t sold on it and it’s not 9 letters. I really do love it though as my maiden name is [name]Harris[/name] and I would like to honour my Dad by using it. We would even consider using [name]Harris[/name] as a middle name for a girl. I like [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Harris[/name], do you think that works? Our last name starts with R and has 2 syllables.
We have been keeping [name]Alexander[/name] in mind for a boy as it’s a family name but as we already have an A name we are unsure. It is the top of my list though! My husband wants to use his middle name ([name]Charles[/name]) as a middle name if it’s a boy but that would rule [name]Alexander[/name] out because then his initials would be the same as [name]Annabelle[/name]'s We have friends names [name]Sebastian[/name] and [name]Christian[/name] so those are out unfortunately
I am open to other suggestions because I think 9 letters is really limiting us. We didn’t plan of only having names with 9 letters it just kind of happened with our first too! [name]Elizabeth[/name] was named after my husbands Grandmother and [name]Anna[/name] is a family name on both sides so we made is [name]Annabelle[/name].
Finding the right name is so hard.
[name]Cassandra[/name]
[name]Constance[/name]
[name]Gabriella[/name]
[name]Jaqueline[/name]
[name]Christina[/name]
[name]Broderick[/name]
Nine letters is surprisingly limited.
I actually know a family from our church that has an [name]Annabelle[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name] and were also looking for a nine-letter name, too. Funny. They went with [name]Bridgette[/name].
[name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Susannah[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Eleanora[/name]
[name]Priscilla[/name]
[name]Madeline[/name]
[name]Kimberly[/name]
[name]Gwendolyn[/name]
Girls:
[name]Alexandra[/name]
[name]Anastasia[/name]
[name]Anneliese[/name]
[name]Augustina[/name]
[name]Carmelita[/name]
[name]Cassandra[/name]
[name]Dominique[/name]
[name]Francesca[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name]
[name]Guinevere[/name]
[name]Henrietta[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Maryellen[/name]
[name]Millicent[/name]
[name]Parthenia[/name]
[name]Philomela[/name]
[name]Philomena[/name]
[name]Primavera[/name]
[name]Rosemarie[/name]
[name]Seraphina[/name]
[name]Sophronia[/name]
[name]Tennessee[/name]
[name]Theodosia[/name]
[name]Thomasina[/name]
[name]Valentina[/name]
Boys:
[name]Augustine[/name]
[name]Blanchard[/name]
[name]Celestino[/name]
[name]Christian[/name]
[name]Courtland[/name]
[name]Demetrius[/name]
[name]Ferdinand[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Macarthur[/name]
[name]Salvatore[/name]
[name]Sebastien[/name]
[name]Zachariah[/name]
We have narrowed down the Boys names to [name]Alexander[/name], even though we said we wouldn’t have 2 kids with names starting with A, it’s my favourite boys name and has been since I was about 5. Middle name would be [name]Harris[/name] or [name]Chase[/name].
For girls we like
[name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Harriette[/name]/[name]Harriet[/name] (more likely to be a middle name)
[name]Madeleine[/name]
[name]Gwendolyn[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] (I still love it but don’t think I could ‘steal it’ from my friend)
Middle name for a girl would be [name]Susannah[/name], [name]Tracy[/name], [name]Harris[/name] or [name]Harriet[/name]. What first name would you pair with them?
I think [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Harriet[/name] sounds the best, and fits well with [name]Annabelle[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name].
I think [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Harriet[/name] sounds the best, and fits well with [name]Annabelle[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name].
My picks in order:
[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Harris[/name] is lovely and I think it fits perfectly.
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Tracy[/name] would also be utterly fantastic – maybe your friend will find out she’s having twin boys!
[name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Harris[/name] is also very nice along with [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Tracy[/name] - but they don’t fit quite as well with your sibset, though they are lovely names so it just depends on how concerned you are with symmetry.
I vote for [name]Madeleine[/name]!
