My best friend is due in [name_u]January[/name_u] with her daughter, and they are having trouble coming up with a name for her! She has asked me to come up with some suggestions for her and her husband. However, they want the name to have either [name_f]Ann[/name_f] or [name_f]Marie[/name_f] in it, as they will use the other for the middle name. [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is her mother-in-law’s middle name, and [name_f]Marie[/name_f] is her mother’s middle name. Some examples of what they are looking for are:
Emmarie [name_f]Ann[/name_f], [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f], etc.
Another suggestion would be to use different variations of [name_f]Marie[/name_f] such as:
[name_f]Mariah[/name_f]
[name_f]Mariana[/name_f]
[name_f]Marissa[/name_f]
[name_f]Mariella[/name_f]
I know this is not exactly what they’re asking for, but I’d suggested using simply [name_f]Annmarie[/name_f] as a middle name (or a first name)! It is such a beautiful name that I’ve had a sort of guilty pleasure crush on for years. If they’d use [name_f]Annmarie[/name_f] as a one of the names they could choose a new name all her own that they love for the other!
But anyway, to the real question.
[name_f]Marie[/name_f] names- [name_f]Mariel[/name_f], [name_f]Marielle[/name_f], [name_f]Marietta[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f]
It might not be their style, but I’m just going to throw my hat in the ring for [name_f]Marianne[/name_f].
It’s such a beautiful, elegant, never-overused name and reminds me of the gorgeous song by [name_m]Leonard[/name_m] [name_m]Cohen[/name_m]. [name_f]Marianna[/name_f] is a lovely, slightly more modern-feeling variant.
