[name_m]Hi[/name_m], Writerberries! I’d like a hand with naming some characters that have some sort of water/ ocean/ sea or darkness/ shadow/ depth meaning, but I’m having a hard time coming up with things that “go,” together. Usually when I find things I like, they’re from varying cultures or the sounds clash and they don’t sound like these people could be from the same place or time. I’d prefer something sort of old-timey sounding for at least the majority of the names, and the characters are going to be from somewhere in the United Kingdom or western Europe.
I believe in your skills! Thank you for the help!!
I also need a hand with naming my main character. I’d like his name to fit in with these meanings and be kind of unique-sounding, maybe through a nickname. He needs a good surname, too. He’s a twelve year old boy that’s kind of forgotten all the time and scrappy from making it on his own. Current inspirations are [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], [name_m]Hurley[/name_m], [name_m]Keir[/name_m], [name_u]Douglas[/name_u], and [name_m]Seymour[/name_m] but I’m not really feeling all of them and some work best as surnames. I need a good set!
Again, thank you!
I hope this is what you’re looking for. Sorry if some of these are too modern, or that this group is not cohesive enough. Good luck with your story!
