Place names such as [name]Brooklyn[/name] or [name]London[/name] for little girls. Some place names are lovely and have a history of being given as names, [name]Brooklyn[/name] which I have to hear all the time does not. I can’t stand it.
Overly popular names like [name]Lily[/name] [and it’s variations], [name]Ella[/name], [name]Bella[/name], etc.
Filler middle names: [name]Ann[/name], [name]Grace[/name], [name]Mae[/name], [name]Marie[/name], [name]Lynn[/name], [name]Lee[/name], [name]Rose[/name], [name]Hope[/name], etc. [These names might actually make decent/cool first names, but I’m sick to death of people [name]IRL[/name] suggesting I give my daughter a middle name like [name]Ann[/name] even after I tell them no.]
Made up names like [name]Nevaeh[/name], and all those bell-tone made up names that rhyme with [name]Aiden[/name] or [name]Haley[/name].
Names that read like the parents got the idea from watching porn or their local strip joint like [name]Bliss[/name], [name]Cherry[/name], [name]Lexi[/name], [name]Destiny[/name], etc.
Alcohol names: [name]Brandy[/name], [name]Chardonnay[/name], etc.
Car names: [name]Camry[/name]. [name]Mercedes[/name], [name]Lexus[/name], etc… At least one girl I knew had a more unusual car name [though one I’d never give a child] Viper.
On another note with regards to googling names, it’s not that hard, I don’t know why more parents don’t do it before they name their kid if they are keen on him or her having a unusual name. I was amused/pleased that one of the top name combos I am considering, the last person in the USA to have it was born in 1885. The other name combo apparently only two people in the US living today have it. That’s more than good enough. But still to have first name that no one else has in the whole state? It’s possible but you’d have to go for a really far out there name.
