Names You've Heard Beginning with "Mc"

I know of a McCaire and McCart, both happen to be girls. Interested to hear what first names you’ve heard or ideas you can come up with that begin with this letter combination, for either a girl or boy.

I know a McKenna (goes by [name_m]Kenny[/name_m]) and a McAllister (though he might have spelt it [name_m]Macallister[/name_m])

I’ve met a [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] / McKenzie or two, and a [name_f]Makayla[/name_f], but that’s about it. I’ve also heard:

McKenna / [name_f]Mackenna[/name_f]
McKinley / Mackinley
[name_m]Macaulay[/name_m] / McCaulay
McCarty
[name_m]Macallister[/name_m] / McAllister
[name_f]Makayla[/name_f] / McKayla
McArthur / [name_u]Macarthur[/name_u]

i’ve only ever met a mackenzie (b)

living in scotland, i’ve heard basically all of them for surnames, but i’ve only ever met a McKenna for a first name

I know a McKinley, goes by “[name_f]Kinley[/name_f]”. (I don’t think she likes the Mc.)

I have also known several McKenzies/Mackenzies! It is very popular in my area.

The only one I’ve met that I haven’t seen here yet is McKay!

McKenzie was pretty popular for boys when I was at school. I don’t think I’ve met any other Mc names irl? I’ve known a couple of [name_f]Michaela[/name_f]’s which kinda sounds like a Mc name

I’ve known several girls named McKenzie (of various spellings) and [name_f]Makayla[/name_f] (of various spellings). I’ve also known girls named McKenna and a boy. One I haven’t seen mentioned here that I’ve met before was a Makylie.

McRose
McKenna
McKenzie
[name_f]Mackayla[/name_f]
McEllison

I once met a boy named McCoy.

I’m familiar with [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] and [name_m]Macaulay[/name_m], and I’ve met a [name_u]Mackay[/name_u]. I also know a Michela - does that count, even with the Mi- beginning?

I much prefer [name_m]Mac[/name_m] rather than just a Mc, personally. It just seems more complete and much less surname-y. I quite like the sound of all of these Mc names though, even if they’re off the table for us due to close associations.

McWayne is the most interesting I have ever seen.

I know McKenna and [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u], both girls, and a McAllen (girl, goes by [name_u]Mickey[/name_u]), and a McCarthy (boy, goes by [name_u]Mack[/name_u]).

Pretty sure I’ve seen McCartney as a first name

McTavish!

I’ve also met a boy named Makyle (can’t remember the spelling) and a girl named Miciah, if that counts.
