I always loved [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] which is so not my style and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] which I still love
In a notebook I have a long list of favourite names that I compiled when I was around 11. The names from the list that I still like are [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] (love this!), [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Liv[/name_f], [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f].
The list didn’t have any male names. [name_m]Even[/name_m] now I find them harder to like, for some reason.
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] <3
I fell in love with it in grade 3, when our English teacher read us The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It’s been in the forefront of my mind ever since. I adore it.
I really liked [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] when I was a kid. I named my baby doll [name_m]Jacob[/name_m], even though she was a girl. I just loved it. I still like it a lot but it’s way, [name_m]WAY[/name_m] too popular for me. I can see why it’s so popular though, it’s a wonderful name. Now I’m trying to convince my brother, who likes popular names, that he should use it when he has kids.
For girls I’ve liked [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] for a really long time, but not nearly as long as [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]. I discovered [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] when I was 13 and I’ve been in love with it ever since.
[name_m]Charles[/name_m] is the one name that has never lost its shine for me. I fully intend on naming my first son [name_m]Charles[/name_m] nn [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and have planned on that since I was 14 years old. I’m 27 now.
[name_f]Alana[/name_f], [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m], [name_m]Wesley[/name_m], [name_u]Evan[/name_u]
Mine have always been:
Boy: [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], [name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], [name_m]Levi[/name_m].
Girl: [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_f]Philippa[/name_f], [name_u]Arden[/name_u], [name_f]Grier[/name_f].
[name_m]Zachary[/name_m] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] for any future boys. I’ve held onto these two since my childhood.
[name_f]My[/name_f] girls list is pretty fresh. However, [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is one of my favourite girls names and has been since I was four years old.
As a kid some of my favorite names that I can recall were:

- names on my current list
I got all of my favorite names from stories. Gerda and Kai were my favorite names when I was really little, from the Snow Queen story. I also loved the name Curdie from the Princess and the Goblin. As I got older the names Emmeline and Gilbert became my favorites after I read Lucy Maud Montgomery’s stories, and Jonas, Fiona and Asher after reading The Giver.
The first name I ever loved was [name_m]Zachary[/name_m]. I got this teddy bear when I was 3 and that’s what I named him and nobody knows why haha, that’s just what I decided on. I still have that bear too, he was my all time favorite, take-it-everywhere toy.
On a camping trip when I was around 11, I met a little boy named [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and I have been in love with it ever since.
When I was going through my tomboy phase I always wished my own name was [name_u]Kacey[/name_u] but I no longer care for that name but it was a favorite for a few years. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is another name that I’ve always really liked
I’ve loved [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and AnnaLynne my whole life. Literally as long as I can remember. I don’t think I will ever get to use either of them though
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f] (of course), [name_f]Camille[/name_f], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Alison[/name_f].
At the moment, can’t really think of any boy names I’ve always been into.
When I was about five I tried to get my parents to call me by my middle name ([name_f]Alison[/name_f]). It didn’t work; my dad refused to indulge me.
Oh, and I forgot: [name_f]Marie[/name_f].
[name_u]Seth[/name_u] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f].
Oh boy. As a kid I loved the names [name_m]Jason[/name_m] & [name_m]David[/name_m]. I think [name_m]David[/name_m] was my all-time favourite name. I still like it but wouldn’t use it. In junior highschool I was really into matchy names like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_f]Thyme[/name_f] or Dusk & [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] & mythology names like [name_m]Pan[/name_m] & [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] & [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] & Andromanche.
I have loved the names [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] since I was about 10. I don’t know if I would use either of (due to my surname) but I still adore them!
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]
[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u]
[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m]
[name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Veda[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] for a boy. I’ve loved this name since I could remember - and it’s still my favourite.
I wasn’t really into girls names when I was younger. But my oldest loved was [name_f]Anya[/name_f], after the movie [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] and the actual missing (now found) princess. It’s not my favourite anymore, but more a gp.
When I was 5 or 6 I loved [name_m]Levi[/name_m] and [name_m]Philip[/name_m] because my mom had told me that’s what my name would have been had I been a boy.
