Naming a girly small business...please help!

[name]Hi[/name] there! I am needing help trying to come up with a cute small business name for a headband, fabric flower, girly accessories business. I’d like something sweet but quirky. My girlfriend and I are doing it together. We kind of like incorporating an “old lady name” since they are vintage inspired. The name on the table right now is [name]HAZEL[/name] AND [name]BEAU[/name]. [name]Beau[/name] is just a cute take on “bow”…or [name]HAZEL[/name]'S [name]BEAU[/name]. Any other ideaS?

Hmm. The one that popped into my head was “[name]Lorna[/name]'s Adornments” - [name]Lorna[/name] being a vintage name, adornments as a more interesting name for “accessories” - the two “orn” sounds tie it together and make it more memorable. Or is that too cutesy?

That’s really cute!

What about something alliterative, like [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Hattie[/name], or [name]Bella[/name] and [name]Beau[/name]? Are you looking for B/G, or does it matter?

Some of my favorite store-names are ones like that ([name]Poppy[/name] & [name]Stella[/name], [name]Riley[/name] & [name]Bella[/name]), so here are a few of my (rough) ideas:

[name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Hattie[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Myrtle[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Leon[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Remy[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Finn[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Fran[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Max[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Oscar[/name]

Thank you so much! I love [name]Lorna[/name]'s Adornments and the alliteration of [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Hattie[/name]! Is the play on [name]Beau[/name] “[name]Bow[/name]” not something people will necessarily pick up on?

I think most people will get the [name]Beau[/name]/bow pun  What about [name]Hazel[/name] + [name]Beau[/name]? Like [name]Alice[/name] + [name]Oliva[/name] - I always thought their name was super neat

Another thing you could do to make the beau/bow connection stronger is when you’re designing any logos, etc.
You can always twist the word [name]Beau[/name] into the shape of a bow, etc.
Hoped this helped. Good luck!

I really like “[name]Scout[/name] and [name]Jenny[/name]”. I know that’s random. Some names I think could work for a girly boutique: [name]Mollie[/name], [name]Rosie[/name], [name]Emma[/name], [name]Kate[/name], [name]Teddy[/name], [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Audrey[/name], [name]Sadie[/name], [name]Meg[/name], [name]Emmy[/name]. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! All great feedback!

In this case I think that alliteration is perfect. Maybe you’d like…

Sweet [name]Stella[/name]
[name]Lovely[/name] [name]Laura[/name]
Charming [name]Charlie[/name]
Dainty [name]Danica[/name]
Enchanting [name]Evangeline[/name]

I’m not sure about everyone else out there, but to me these really suit girly businesses. You can take your pick of adjectives, choose your favourite alliterative, girly name and you’ve got a sweet boutique name. If you’re opening an actual store, I think that tacking “Boutique” on the end really completes it (like Splendid [name]Sophie[/name] Boutique).
