Naming Orion's little brother

We named our son [name]Orion[/name], as he was born at the end of [name]November[/name] when the constellation was the brightest. Ore also means light in Hebrew. We love the name and couldn’t agree on any other. I love that there are so many versions of the myth around [name]Orion[/name] depending on the culture, so it gives him a certain amount of flexibility in his identity.

Now we are having a summer baby in the beginning of [name]September[/name] ( our [name]Indian[/name] summer just gets started at that time). This baby is also a boy. [name]Orion[/name] is a pretty hard name to follow! We can’t agree on any other name- the next boy doesn’t have to have a Greek name as well, but I want it to feel as timeless as the name [name]Orion[/name] does. My husband like [name]Zephyr[/name], and I like [name]Arthur[/name]. Neither of us likes the other’s preference. [name]Apollo[/name] is too space related for us, and Siris or O’Siris has too much baggage in it’s mythology.

Anyone have other ideas?

You are right, it seems hard to match the significance and specialness of [name]Orion[/name]!

Some ideas:

[name]Archer[/name] (love how this sounds with [name]Orion[/name]!)
[name]River[/name] (has a similar special timeless feel, but branches out from mythological)
[name]Phoenix[/name] (this might be my favorite with [name]Orion[/name], has similar gravitas, is also Greek, and is also modern and cool)

Also,
there’s [name]Atlas[/name], which I love of course (though I’m biased) and think sounds great with [name]Orion[/name] - but it doesn’t sound like you can get passed the mythological baggage

Can I please suggest [name]Draco[/name]?

I love the idea of [name]Sirius[/name]. I’d suggest Virgo, but ehhh. Not really feeling it, there’s [name]Viggo[/name].
[name]Leo[/name] comes to mind as well, [name]Orion[/name] and [name]Leo[/name] would be nice. [name]Leo[/name] reinforces that summer feel.

[name]Aurelio[/name] or [name]Aurelius[/name] is nice as well.

[name]Leo[/name] [name]Lenox[/name] or [name]Leonis[/name] [name]Lenox[/name] in daily life seem like a mouthful. I’d go with [name]Zephyr[/name].

My first thought, before I even read your post, was [name]Zephyr[/name]!

I love [name]Leo[/name] but I think [name]Zephyr[/name] would be the more unusual match for [name]Orion[/name]'s sibling. [name]Zephyr[/name] [name]Lucian[/name] would be my pick.
