Can the last letter of the first name, and beginning letter of the middle name be the same?
For example, the name we have chosen as the first name if it’s a girl is [name]Stella[/name], and I love [name]Annabel[/name] for a middle name. Does this not work together because of the “A”?
Anyone want to offer other suggestions for middle names?
the 'A’s back to back make it a little awkward to say, but you don’t often call people by there full name, and if that doesn’t bother you I don’t see why you couldn’t use [name]Stella[/name] [name]Annabel[/name] (both fantastic names by the way)
I think back-to-back vowels just make the flow of a name a bit awkward, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use them! For me, [name]Stella[/name] [name]Annabel[/name] is a bit awkward because both have prominent “elle” sounds in them. If you love it, go for it, but you could try something like:
I think it depends on the sounds rather than the letters. [name]Stella[/name] ends with a different sound than the beginning sound of [name]Annabel[/name], so in that case I think it’s fine.
I typically don’t like when the first name ends with the same sound as the beginning sound of the middle name, but if I have a girl I’m planning to use [name]Cora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] ([name]Elizabeth[/name] is a family name). [name]Even[/name] though [name]Cora[/name] ends with an A and [name]Elizabeth[/name] begins with an E, it’s the same sound so I’ll be breaking my own rule.
[name]Stella[/name] [name]Annabel[/name] is so cute. I love it, it doesn’t roll off the tongue as easy as other name combinations but it isn’t difficult to say by any means.
Some middle names I’d suggest if you aren’t entirely set on [name]Annabel[/name] are:
