I’m starting a book, a love story, really, and I need names to fit the characters.
For the protagonist, I need a name that’s familiar, spunky, and smart.
For her love interest, I’d like a name that is strong, sweet, but a little country, too.
My [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] has suggested [name_f]Ella[/name_f] (her best friend’s name), which I like, but I feel is a bit young for the character.

Well, they are both seventeen. The girl is a stereotypical good girl, the know it all, the works. She enjoys things like drama and singing. The boy is someone who needs a bit of help in school, not dumb but below average. He likes skateboarding and baseball.
Who are their parents? Backgrounds, ethnicity, location, ages etc.

[name_f]Inez[/name_f] could possibly work, if she was of Spanish decent, and there is a character named [name_f]Inez[/name_f] in Cyberchase that HATES being called Nezzie, by her friend, [name_m]Matt[/name_m], a kid who is good at math and lives on the country-side.
