Narrowing down names

I have twins Henry and Caroline and posted on here about boy names for my third baby due in the fall! I got several good suggestions and need help narrowing things down!

Of note, we mostly call the twins by their full names but occasionally we call them Hank and Cali, so a four letter nickname could be a bonus

-Oliver (our top name right now)
-Finnegan/ Finn
-George
-Arthur / Artie
-William / Will or Liam

I do like the fact that Arthur and William are royal names like Henry but I do think I like the sound of Oliver better?

I do like Harrison but worry it’s too close to Henry and also kind of like them having different initials. Same with Charles / Charlie and Caroline

Looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts!

Oliver/Olly and Finnigan/Finn are great

I love [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] for you! He could go by [name_f]Olly[/name_f] or [name_m]Levi[/name_m] to have a 4 letter nn as well!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] second favorite is [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] “Finn”, but I think I much prefer the flow of [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] with the twin’s names. Something about [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] just sounds perfect together.

For you, I love:

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] → handsome and strong but friendly too. I love [name_m]Artie[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]George[/name_m] → gentle and regal and really versatile (Jory as a nickname?)

[name_f][/name_f]

The others are good options too [name_f][/name_f]- [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is versatile and classic, [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] is unexpected and sparky and [name_m]William[/name_m] is a solid choice.

[name_f][/name_f]

But if I were to list them in order of favourite to least…

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]George[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Finnegan[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]William[/name_m]

I’m really loving [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] for y’all, but [name_m]George[/name_m] & [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] are definitely close runner ups! I like how [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is both formal & laid back, he really matches that friendly feel of your other kids’ names. I think both [name_f]Olly[/name_f], [name_m]Levi[/name_m], or even just [name_m]Lee[/name_m] would be super cute as nicknames.

[name_f][/name_f]

I do agree that [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] & [name_m]Henry[/name_m] are a little close, especially if you’re not completely in love with the name [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]. Since [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is technically a feminine derivation of [name_m]Charles[/name_m], I agree there as well.

I always thought of [name_m]Ollie[/name_m] spelled with an “ie” but I like the “y” spelling too

I’m loving these associations! Thank you!!

I haven’t thought of [name_m]Levi[/name_m] or [name_m]Lee[/name_m] for nicknames for [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]!

[name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] are so cute as twins. From your options I really like [name_f][/name_f]:

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]George[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is super common in my circles and [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] doesn’t have the same vibe in my opinion

Any would work great but [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is my favorite.

[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] remains my favorite with [name_m]Henry[/name_m] & [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. Seems just perfect. But I’m liking [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] & [name_m]William[/name_m], too. With nicknames considered, I like [name_m]Ollie[/name_m] or [name_m]Liam[/name_m] better than [name_m]Artie[/name_m].
