I prefer [name_m]Nathan[/name_m]

[name_m]Nathan[/name_m] is a perfectly fine name but I love [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m].

I’ve always liked the longer name of [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] more than [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] and that’s probably because of my fondness for “el” names for boys (eg. [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]). Besides, if you choose [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] you can give him the nn [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] anyway so that’s two for the price of one.

I had a friend in high school named [name_m]Nathan[/name_m], but I always called him [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]. He didn’t mind, but his mother always got worked up over it when I called his house and asked for [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]. I think the long version is far nicer.

I love [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], but I really don’t like [name_m]Nathan[/name_m], and hate [name_m]Nate[/name_m]. I wish more Nathaniels used their full names. :frowning:

[name_m]Nathan[/name_m], only because I have a bad personal association with [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]. I tend to like [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] more as a middle name.

For me it’s [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] by a LOOOOONG mile.

Ooh, I love both! [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] seems very manly, [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] is very nice with the options of [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] or [name_m]Nate[/name_m]. I can’t vote!

I’ve always preferred [name_m]Nathan[/name_m]

I prefer [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] but I’m not really sure why, it just seems more complete to me.

I much prefer [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]. Not fond of [name_m]Nathan[/name_m].

I prefer the look of [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], but like the sound of [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] more.

I used to prefer [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] but I’m starting to like [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] more.

Either are nice. I love [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], and he would always have the option of going by just [name_m]Nathan[/name_m].
