Looking for some ideas of nature-inspired names as siblings for [name_f]Aurora, nn Rory[/name_f] (both female and male). We named her after the northern lights, so looking for some more subtle nature names (ie not [name_u]Wolf[/name_u], [name_u]River[/name_u] etc…hubby thinks they’re too hippy ). Also not looking to be toooo matchy (ie [name_f]Stella[/name_f]/Celeste/Luna).
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite for a boy so far is [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] (a beautiful national park and a gemstone) but my husband is on the fence about it. Also ideally I’d like to have the ability to shorten it, and I’m not a fan of Jas/Jazz/Jason. No ideas for a girl yet!
I also have a northern lights-inspired [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] “[name_u]Rory[/name_u].” I actually really like [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] as a sister name, since they share the sky connection then. But I also think an ocean-inspired name would be lovely, perhaps [name_f]Coral[/name_f] (although not if you would call her [name_f]Cori[/name_f]), [name_f]Marina[/name_f], or [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] for a boy.
I like [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. I also second suggestions of [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f].
You may like [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] which means [name_u]Dove[/name_u].
Oh some of these are so pretty! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Thalia[/name_f], but unfortunately that’s my sister’s name .
Also enjoy [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_u]Willow[/name_u].
LOVE [name_u]Everest[/name_u]/Everett, and also [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] for a girl or boy, but they’d inevitably be shortened to [name_f]Ro[/name_f], so we’d have a [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and a [name_f]Ro[/name_f]
Love [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] for a boy, it’s sweet.
