Nature or Old Man names

Hello!
Right now I’m making a list of names for our new furry family member that will be coming home soon. But I find that all the names I like are either the names I’ve reserved for a human baby or are very similar. My style tends to be more along the lines of Old man names and nature names, but I’m having trouble adding more to my list.

My two boy’s name combos for a human baby are
[name_m]Ramsay[/name_m] [name_m]Sean[/name_m] (not changing or being removed)
[name_m]Castiel[/name_m] nn.[name_m]Cas[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u]. (I’m less attached to this one and could move or change it, but I really do like it)

I keep coming across names like [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and liking them but it’s way too close to [name_m]Castiel[/name_m] and would have the same nickname.

My list for this puppy so far is:
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] nn [name_m]Ossie[/name_m]
[name_m]Chester[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] nn [name_u]Ori[/name_u]
[name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ro[/name_f] (I know sparrow would typically be used for a girl but I can’t stop thinking about it for him)

Any suggestions for either a human or dog baby? The pup is a standard size GoldenDoodle, if that helps.
Thanks in advance

[name_m]Hector[/name_m] would be a cute golden doodle name!

[name_m]Hector[/name_m]
[name_m]Remus[/name_m]
[name_m]Seamus[/name_m]
[name_m]Digby[/name_m]
[name_m]Franklin[/name_m]
[name_m]Moses[/name_m]
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m]
[name_m]Huckleberry[/name_m]
[name_m]Birch[/name_m]
[name_u]Finch[/name_u]
[name_m]Basil[/name_m]
[name_m]Rupert[/name_m]

I love [name_m]Remus[/name_m]! It’s so cute! [name_m]Basil[/name_m] is absolutely lovely, and is definitely going on the list too!

[name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] and [name_m]Chester[/name_m] are great!

[name_m]Wilbur[/name_m]
[name_m]Monty[/name_m]
[name_m]Winston[/name_m]
[name_m]Edwin[/name_m]
[name_u]Oakley[/name_u]
[name_m]Elmo[/name_m]
[name_m]Horatio[/name_m]
[name_u]Stanley[/name_u]
[name_m]Miles[/name_m]/[name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_m]Apollo[/name_m]
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] ‘[name_f]Ro[/name_f]’
[name_m]Otto[/name_m]

[name_u]River[/name_u] is great. [name_m]Milo[/name_m] is one of my favorites but I had a cat with that name so it’s on the “no” list unfortunately.

My favourite on your list for your new pup is [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], least favourite being [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] because for me, it would be odd looking at a larger size dog and calling him more or less, bird. More suggestions…

[name_m]Otto[/name_m]
[name_m]Gibby[/name_m]
[name_u]Percy[/name_u]
[name_u]Rudy[/name_u]
[name_u]Oakley[/name_u]
Opie - especially if he is ginger coloured as Opie was [name_m]Ron[/name_m] [name_u]Howard[/name_u]’s character in the [name_u]Andy[/name_u] [name_m]Griffith[/name_m] show.

Thank you, I appreciate the suggestions! I’m not worried about the big dog being called a little dog name thing. It seems to be a “trend” here. I know a very, very large dog (100+ lbs) named [name_f]Tiny[/name_f] and one of similar size named Teacup.
[name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] isn’t my top choice, I definitely prefer some of the others but I thought it was cute enough to add.
