Hey,
I’m not finding any threads about the name Neda so starting one here to ask for thoughts and middle name suggestions. I recently found this name and love it. I can see how it might not be everyone’s taste though. Middle name help would be appreciated!
Oh! [name_m]Just[/name_m] thought of one - Neda [name_f]Louise[/name_f]?

Wow! I am in love with this name. Neda. That being said, I do have a “thing” for short, strong female names, but I am incredibly delighted with this name in particular. More specifically, I love the unassuming nature of this name-- it almost sounds ethereal, but doesn’t scream MYTHOLOGY at you every time you hear it.
Anyways, I’ve paired the lovely Neda with an assortment of names below (I just took a stab at it with no real theme in mind, but many are [name_m]French[/name_m] and/or nature-inspired) and hope you find something you like-- or, at least, something that inspires you to come across another name you do like! My favorites are in pink.
Neda [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] (pr: [name_f]Emma[/name_f]-leen)
Neda [name_u]Eden[/name_u]
Neda [name_u]Abilene[/name_u] (I love “lene” endings and think this is a refreshing spin on the dated “[name_f]Abigail[/name_f].” Plus, it’s not a made-up name! It’s a real place with a Biblical shout out)
Neda [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]
Neda [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
Neda [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f]
Neda [name_f]Morgana[/name_f]

Neda [name_u]Cato[/name_u] (Hunger Games aside, I think [name_u]Cato[/name_u] makes for a beautiful and surprising choice)
Neda [name_u]Rowen[/name_u]
Neda [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
Neda [name_f]Margery[/name_f]

That’s my great grandma’s name
I’ve never heard it anywhere else before- way to pull out an old-school Macedonian name! I like several of the suggestions above, especially Neda [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and Neda [name_f]Lilac[/name_f].
[name_m]How[/name_m] do you say this name? Is it KNEE-da or NAY-da or something else entirely?
I’ve never heard of Neda, but I know a young lady named [name_f]Netta[/name_f]. I think it’s lovely.
I like Neda [name_f]Louise[/name_f]
Assuming it’s pronounced NEH-duh…
Personally, it doesn’t appeal to me. I much prefer [name_f]Edda[/name_f]. That being said, Neda [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is pretty. [name_f]Louise[/name_f] goes well with just about any first name!
It’s the word for ‘no’ in a Ugandan language, which is my first and only assosiation. [name_m]Just[/name_m] doesn’t sound very namey to me because I can’t shake that, but I think it’s quite pretty sounding!
It’s got a sweet, old fashioned nickname feel. I adore Neda [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] actually!
Not sure if there are multiple pronunciations, but my great-grandma pronounced it NAY-duh.
Is that pronounced like [name_f]Nita[/name_f]
