Need a first/middle name to go with Angel!

[name_u]Angel[/name_u] has significance to the family name history, so we want [name_u]Angel[/name_u] to be either the first or middle name. The problem is that we can’t seem to settle for something that flows well with [name_u]Angel[/name_u] whilst meaning what we want. The kind of meanings we are looking for is everlasting, eternal, or enduring. Another possible flavor is something relating to wolves, because we live in the northern state of [name_u]Montana[/name_u] and have an affection for the melancholy howls that come with the night.

Names I am considering are [name_m]Dante[/name_m] and [name_m]Eilam[/name_m]. Both have proper meanings, but as mentioned, I cannot seem to connect them with [name_u]Angel[/name_u]! I’d like some opinions, thoughts and suggestions.

[name_u]Angel[/name_u] was one of the options being considered for my names lol  Also my s/o and I just happened to be talking about a middle name for a girl it’s beautiful but we decided not to use it (Ylva) it’s an old swedish name meaning “she-wolf” “female wolf”

Forgot to point out in the opening post since I figured this was the section for boys anyway, but we are considering a name for a male. I personally think it has a masculine feel to it - my perspective of angels is that they are guardians. The problem is there are so few names with the meaning “eternal” or “everlasting” to go with it.

I really like [name_m]Dante[/name_m] as a male name, as it means “Enduring”, but something like [name_m]Dante[/name_m] [name_u]Angel[/name_u], or [name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Dante[/name_m] doesn’t sound well to me. The last name is [name_m]Winters[/name_m], so I am slightly tempted to just drop any middle name and go with [name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Winters[/name_m], but there are so many possibilities that it would be a shame to miss out on a good complement to the name.

Oh oh sorry >.<
Angel Durante Winters
Angel Elam Winters (means forever)
Angel Erik/Erick Winters (has an eternal meaning)
Angel Javed/Javid Winters (means eternal)

I feel like you need a longer name to go with [name_u]Angel[/name_u] (btw, I love that name so much). I like the name [name_m]Dante[/name_m] a lot, but it doesn’t really fit with [name_u]Angel[/name_u] as a first name. It would sound better, [name_m]Dante[/name_m] [name_u]Angel[/name_u]

the initial names that come to mind are

[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Matteo[/name_m]
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Francisco[/name_m]
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Valentino[/name_m]
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Alejandro[/name_m]
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Emmanuel[/name_m]

I also like

[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] Vallor
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_u]Hartley[/name_u]
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Severo[/name_m]
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_u]Everest[/name_u] (When I think of a mountain, I definitely think “everlasting”)

Some wolf names

[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_u]Channing[/name_u] ([name_u]Channing[/name_u] means “young wolf”)
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] Faelen ([name_f]Fay[/name_f]-[name_f]Lin[/name_f] Irish for wolf)
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] Faolen ("small wolf)
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Lovell[/name_m] (not sure I like the sound of it, but it’s french for wolf)
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] Reszo (another wolf name)

[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_m]Conan[/name_m] [name_u]Angel[/name_u]

I too like the name! I just wish its meaning didn’t relate to boar, we’re big on name meanings. There are some lovely suggestions, and I agree that a longer-sounding name complements [name_u]Angel[/name_u] well, were it to be the first name.

Actually, boar may not be too bad. They’re stubborn and strong which relates to “enduring” and the “ever” in [name_u]Everett[/name_u] relates to everlasting. The dreamy sound of [name_u]Everett[/name_u] has a hidden meaning of a very feisty animal and pairing it with a name like [name_u]Angel[/name_u] really ties it together. Graceful on the outside, strong in the inside. Ultimately though, it’s your call. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] I helped!

I think your culture matters as [name_u]Angel[/name_u] is very feminine to me. I did know one man named [name_u]Angel[/name_u] and this may be why I think it should be kept as a middle name only.
There was a pop song, “[name_m]Johnny[/name_m] [name_u]Angel[/name_u]” you could probably find and listen to on YouTube.
Whatever you choose, I suggest going strongly masculine as [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is currently a very popular girls’ name, so you’ll need to counter balance both [name_u]Angel[/name_u] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u].

[name_m]Lowell[/name_m] & [name_u]Rafe[/name_u] both have wolf meanings.

I only like [name_u]Angel[/name_u] as a MN.

What about [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] [name_m]Angelo[/name_m] or [name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Raffaelo[/name_m]?

[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Durant[/name_m] - enduring
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_u]Memphis[/name_u] - enduring and beautiful
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Khalid[/name_m] - immortal, everlasting
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Eilam[/name_m] - eternal
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_u]Niran[/name_u] - eternal
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_u]Amari[/name_u] - eternal
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Donte[/name_m] - lasting
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Conroy[/name_m] - wolf of the plain
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Conal[/name_m] - strong as a wolf
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Kennelly[/name_m] - male descendant of a wolf
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_m]Phelan[/name_m] - wolf
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] [name_u]Rafe[/name_u] - wolf-counsel

No kids, just a young name fan.

Boys: [name_m]Louis[/name_m] - [name_u]James[/name_u] - [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] - [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] - [name_m]George[/name_m]
Girls: [name_f]Helen[/name_f] - [name_f]Annie[/name_f] - [name_f]Isla[/name_f] - [name_f]Grace[/name_f] - [name_f]Kaitlin[/name_f]

I personally don’t like [name_u]Angel[/name_u] as a first name, so I’d say go middle with it if it’s significant. Or, I love [name_m]Angelo[/name_m] as a first or middle as an alternative. I think [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] [name_u]Angel[/name_u] or [name_m]Angelo[/name_m] sounds pretty cool for some reason.
