Hey, guys! I’m just going to note, before I start, that I’m not a mother, nor am I expecting. I’m actually a freelance author who takes advantage of this site and its innocent, unsuspecting people. Good? Good.
Anyway, I’m working on a Dystopian novel, and I’ve finally found a good name for the leading female role: Theadosia. I was looking for something with a Greek or Latin feel, that wasn’t too girly (like [name_u]Calypso[/name_u] or [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f]), but still had some amount of feminity and grace.
Buuut…now I just can’t decide on a middle name. So if you guys have any suggestions, that would be great. I’m thinking something more futuristic and offbeat, and much shorter. Preferably two or three syllables. If it helps, she’ll probably be going by [name_f]Thea[/name_f] the majority of the time. I like names that are nouns or scientific in origin, or nouns with symbolic meanings (ex. [name_u]Bird[/name_u], [name_m]Fire[/name_m], Wind)/Abstract nouns, especially translated into other languages. Sorry its so specific, by the way. You know how writers can get wordy sometimes.
