Help!

and we like [name]Elora[/name] vs Ellora, right?

[name]Elora[/name] [name]Holiday[/name] is fun. I also like [name]Elora[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Elora[/name] [name]Davis[/name].

I like [name]Elora[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]

I love [name]Elora[/name] [name]Holiday[/name] because [name]Holiday[/name] is a family name. What a great reason to use such a fun name!

I like [name]Elora[/name] [name]Violet[/name]. Other possibilities:

[name]Elora[/name] [name]Faye[/name]
[name]Elora[/name] [name]June[/name]
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Vivien[/name]
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name]
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Skye[/name]

[name]Elora[/name] [name]Edith[/name]
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Winifred[/name]
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Sybil[/name]

I think [name]Elora[/name] [name]Violet[/name] has the best flow. I love [name]Elora[/name]!

[name]Elora[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is one of our possibilities too! So I’m biased towards it!

Thanks all! [name]How[/name] about the following mn’s?

[name]Elora[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Joline[/name]
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Elora[/name] Nepenthe (na-pen-they…special meaning)
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] (no one like this?..family name)

I like [name]Elora[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] and don’t mind [name]Elora[/name] Nepenthe, although it’s not my style. While I like the name [name]Elizabeth[/name] and completely understand the family significance, I personally think that [name]Elora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is a mouthful with too much of an “eeee” sound. If that doesn’t bother you, though, it’s a pretty combo.

elora is pronounced alora. does the “eee” sound still bother you with that pronunciation?

i guess it’s similar to how i pronounce elizabeth. i dont use a hard “e” on either name.

Well, snap. I find it extremely tough to translate my pronunciation onto paper (or the internet  ), keeping it true to sound while still making it understandable. Still working on that! After more consideration, I pronounce both names with an “eh” rather than a hard e, but I just asked a friend her opinion and apparently she pronounces both with more of an “ah” sound. So it’s really personal preference… if it sounds perfectly fine to you and you truly love it, then use it!

I love [name]Elora[/name] [name]Holiday[/name]! So fun and spunky, plus it’s a family name! Definitely a top contender for me.

I also love the flow of [name]Elora[/name] [name]Sophia[/name], but [name]Sophia[/name] is way too trendy right now.

[name]Elora[/name] [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Elora[/name] [name]Juliet[/name], and [name]Elora[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] are also all great combos.

I’d stay clear of [name]Elora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]/[name]Elisabeth[/name], however. Too many similar sounds and quite the mouthful. same for [name]Elora[/name] [name]Lydia[/name].

[name]Elora[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] - I don’t like that they both end in -a.
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Joline[/name] - This is pretty, but seems a little made up to fit the trend.
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] - This is a nice combo.
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] - Also nice.
[name]Elora[/name] Nepenthe (na-pen-they…special meaning) - I’ve never encountered this name before, so it seems kind of strange. If it has special meaning to you, though, go for it.
[name]Elora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] (no one like this?..family name) - I do like this one! I think people steer clear of it because it can be a filler, but I personally think it’s classic and beautiful. Also, some people don’t like alliteration in names, but I think it sounds fine here.

I agree!!!
