Hello!
I have a son named [name_m]Clay[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] and currently expecting another baby boy mid [name_u]December[/name_u]. I need some help on two things: a first name for him and a middle name that combines both grandpas’ names, [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] and [name_u]Max[/name_u]. We have no idea on the first name, so just anything that you think would sound alright with [name_m]Clay[/name_m].

Hello welcome! It’s hard to find a name that would fit [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] nicely! So I suggest a first name that subtly honors [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] (means gods gift) and [name_u]Max[/name_u] as a honors middle name, By this I mean:
Ian [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] ([name_m]Ian[/name_m] means gods gift)
[name_u]Sean[/name_u] [name_m]Maximus[/name_m] ([name_u]Sean[/name_u] means gods grace)
Other alternatives are names that honor both grandpas separately:

That’s a good idea. That was our issue, the names don’t have much in common to link them into one middle name. We wanted to make sure to include both as we don’t currently plan on having any more children in the future. [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] is really cool though, definitely an option for us.

I know a sibling set of [name_m]Clay[/name_m] and [name_m]Trent[/name_m]! I think they sound really cute together.
How did I not think of [name_m]Jax[/name_m], that’s a good one. I love [name_m]Trent[/name_m]! How does [name_m]Trent[/name_m] [name_m]Jax[/name_m] sound? Not definite, but a strong possibility!

I would personally just use two mns to honor both grandpas. [name_m]Clay[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] & [name_m]Trent[/name_m] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] [name_u]Max[/name_u] for example. Or, you could use [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] or [name_u]Max[/name_u] as fns. [name_m]Clay[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] & [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] would be perfect for brothers. Or even [name_m]Clay[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] & [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] [name_u]Max[/name_u]. Maybe nn [name_m]Jack[/name_m] or [name_u]Jem[/name_u]? Or [name_m]Jax[/name_m]?

What are [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]’s middle names? Or what reminds you of them? There could be other ways to include them in the names you choose
