So, I’ve posted similar threads before, but I’m here for some new fresh opinions. My favorite girl name at the moment is [name_f]Marina[/name_f]. I really want to find the perfect boy name that goes with it that my boyfriend will like too, but I just can’t find one!
The only name he likes is [name_u]Mason[/name_u]. I like [name_u]Mason[/name_u], but it’s just too darn popular and the meaning is very dull to me.
Now here is my criteria:
I want a name that is easily pronounced in Spanish, it doesn’t need to be Spanish necessarily though.
I want a name that is somewhat unique, but recognizable and familiar. More towards classics and names with history, or names from mythology even. But there are quite a few of popular names I like, so just not in the top 10.
I like Masculine names, and I want a name with a cool meaning, and nothing super religious if possible, like for example God is gracious or something.
These are loose criteria, so if you found a name that maybe you think I’d like but it doesn’t fit one of the criteria I’m alright with that! My tastes are all over the place.
Also for some reason I’m not a fan of super duper long lists because I lose names I might like. So…limit it to make 10 really cool names or less? But if it’s more it’s not really a big deal or anything XD
Thank you!! Sorry for being super specific and picky, but it does help a lot
Have you considered looking up boy names which also carry a nautical theme? It may be one way to connect the sibling set without being matchy. [name_m]Just[/name_m] a thought.
What about [name_m]Adrian[/name_m]? It is definitely easy to say for Spanish speakers, it is nautical-themed, masculine and modern-sounding.
Or maybe [name_m]Felix[/name_m], it was my second thought. It means “happy”.
I love [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m]! [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] has rejected [name_m]Felix[/name_m] before sadly, but I can try for [name_m]Adrian[/name_m]
Well, when I read the post title, my first thought was [name_m]Lowell[/name_m]. It means “wolf” and is the name of a famous poet as well. I am not certain how pronounceable in Spanish it is, but [name_f]Marina[/name_f] and [name_m]Lowell[/name_m] is a handsome pairing of names.
Some other options:
[name_m]Aston[/name_m]
[name_m]Baxter[/name_m]
[name_m]Maxim[/name_m]
Ooo, I’ve never even thought of [name_m]Lowell[/name_m]! That’s really interesting. I like it! I also like [name_m]Victor[/name_m] and [name_m]Aston[/name_m]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f] and [name_u]Finley[/name_u] / [name_u]Finlay[/name_u]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f] and [name_m]Julian[/name_m]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f] and [name_m]Ferdinand[/name_m] (love [name_m]Ferdi[/name_m])
I really love [name_u]Kai[/name_u]. But I feel like it’s almost too international…maybe. It’s one of my favorites.
I also like Caspain but I know he’ll never agree to that, and [name_m]Julian[/name_m]! I love [name_m]Fin[/name_m] but I prefer [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] or [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m].
