Pregnant with #2 and needing name options to go with big sister [name_f]Beryl[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f] (mineral/class of gem stones and the insect that gives us honey).
We’re big into biology/botany, astronomy, physics, etc.
Here’s what we have so far, but are open to anything that sounds good!
Girl:
[name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Marine[/name_f]/[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]/[name_f]Jane[/name_f] (after a squirrel monkey I worked with as a zookeeper and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] Goodall)
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u], written down, reminds me a little too much of gamma rays. I do love [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], though. [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] would be stunning! I like [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] really well, too - the sharp [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] is softened by the smooth [name_f]Celeste[/name_f].
Of your boy names, I really like [name_u]Linden[/name_u], although I don’t know what I’d use as a middle name for it. [name_u]Linden[/name_u] [name_u]Jay[/name_u]? [name_u]Linden[/name_u] [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]? [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is really handsome, too - [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] flows well.
I like [name_f]Beryl[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f] and [name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_f]Beryl[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f] and [name_u]Linden[/name_u] [name_m]Forest[/name_m].
My favorite sibsets for you are [name_f]Beryl[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f] & [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_f]Beryl[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f] & [name_u]Linden[/name_u] [name_m]Fox[/name_m].
What about [name_f]Nettie[/name_f] [name_f]Garnet[/name_f]? [name_f]Garnet[/name_f] after the gem and [name_f]Nettie[/name_f] after the first women to find sex chromosomes? Or [name_f]Rita[/name_f] [name_f]Calla[/name_f] after the neurobiologist. For a boy I could see [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_m]Birch[/name_m] (after [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Darwin[/name_m]) or [name_m]David[/name_m] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] (after [name_m]David[/name_m] Attenborough).
