We are expecting our second baby in a few weeks’ time and cannot seem to find a middle name that goes with our boys name choice, [name]Nicholas[/name]. Preferably we would like the middle name to be short and punchy, like [name]James[/name] (unfortunately we can’t use [name]James[/name] as two immediate family members have beaten us to it in recent months).
I also like the idea of using a not-so-common middle name that steers clear of anything with ‘kreative’ spelling or anything too trendy. On my list is [name]Emile[/name], but as luck would have it my husband absolutely hates that name because he thinks it looks too much like [name]Emily[/name]
I first thought of [name]Jack[/name]… and then read your post -it might be too trendy for your tastes.
For short & punchy, how about:
[name]Luke[/name]
[name]Jacob[/name] (this is actually a different version of [name]James[/name])
[name]Daniel[/name]
[name]Vincent[/name]
…
The ones that are few letters but more syllables:
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Avi[/name]
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Ari[/name]
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Ian[/name]
The variants of [name]James[/name]:
[name]Jacob[/name], [name]Seamus[/name], [name]Hamish[/name], [name]Diego[/name], [name]Iago[/name].
