Need a smoosh name or something similar

I’m trying to come up with a smoosh 0-combination of the names Verin and [name]Syrena[/name] (veh-rin and sigh-reen-ah). The dad is Verin and the mom is [name]Syrena[/name] and I’m trying to think of a name for their son. I want a smoosh name, or a real name that sounds like a smoosh of those 2 names, or any name you think would sound good as a son for those two.

Verin is a word from a made up language that means evil. [name]Syrena[/name] is a variation of [name]Sirena[/name], a Greek name which references the sirens who sang men to crash on the rocks and kill themselves. If that helps you help me :slight_smile:

Example – In the girls forum, someone suggested that a good smoosh (which is also a real name) for a daughter for Verin and [name]Syrena[/name] would be [name]Seren[/name]. [name]Hope[/name] that helps.

Syver is a Norse name, from Sigvart meaning ‘victory+protection’
Also [name]Sylvester[/name]. It’s further off, but quite cool.
[name]Yves[/name] combines the first two letters of both names beautifully ^^

I’m not very good with smooshes…

Oh, I was going to say [name]Severin[/name] or Severite. Or [name]Sven[/name]?
Everything else I’ve come up with is too feminine: Svenja, Sveryn, ect.

The perfect name would be Verina (ver-ee-na). So pretty for a girl!

If it is a boy how about Severin, Silvain or Selwyn. :slight_smile:

Thanks everyone! No it’s not a real person. It’s for the main villain in book 3 (as I’m about halfway through book 2) and I couldn’t think of anything so I thought I’d try this approach. I do really like [name]Severin[/name] (as a lot of you suggested) and if I decide it’s a girl, [name]Verena[/name] is perfect!

I wouldn’t use [name]Severin[/name] as its so close to [name]Severus[/name], who was quasi-villainous.
