A friend of mine has a toddler son named [name]Sheldon[/name] [name]Maverick[/name] nn [name]Shel[/name]. They will be adding to their family with a little boy. My friend asked me for help with a list of names as she really liked many of the names of my boys list like [name]Tennessee[/name], [name]Rio[/name] and [name]Zephyr[/name]. I know her and her hubby are very interested in Jewish names to honor their heritage but also want an easy to say name that is very unusual. Any suggestions??

thank you [name]Jill[/name] and [name]Rollo[/name]! I was thinking both [name]Zebulon[/name] and [name]Zev[/name]. The only prob w [name]Zev[/name] being that it is already short and i thought that w a brother named [name]Sheldon[/name] but mostly uses his nn shel the second should also have a longer name w a short nn. I do really like [name]Gideon[/name] but not sure about a nn. The first name does not HAVE to be jewish but i know thats what they like. Also thinking that the name cant be TOO masculin if you know what i mean seeing as [name]Shel[/name] is unisex in my mind.

I can better see [name]Jericho[/name] on a Jewish baby than I can [name]Rudolph[/name], but I can’t picture the cool [name]Jericho[/name] with the clunkier [name]Sheldon[/name].

I agree [name]Jericho[/name] and zebulon seem too cool for shelton. I thought of [name]Rudolph[/name] as its old and clunky like [name]Shel[/name]. Im going to run these names by my friend and see what she likes. I am doing well thanx for asking. I have backed off on asking DH about middle names. But will keep you updated!
What about [name]Ari[/name]? I’m not Jewish, but I love it - it’s a good strong name!
