we can’t really agree on anything and I fear we’ll never find a name we [name_u]LOVE[/name_u].
here’s where we’re at:
Middle name will be [name_m]Raymond[/name_m]. our last name is 3 syllables and starts with H and I don’t like alliteration.
I like:
[name_m]Gavin[/name_m] - I fear it may be too “trendy”, DH doesn’t [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] it
[name_m]Colin[/name_m] - I like it a lot, but don’t love it
[name_m]Conor[/name_m] - like it alot but don’t love it
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] - we both like [name_m]Ben[/name_m]. can we do [name_m]Ben[/name_m] and not [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]? (fear Benajamin and our 3 syllable last name is too much) too popular?
I think you can definitely use [name_m]Ben[/name_m] on its own! I really like this.
You could also use [name_m]Benard[/name_m], [name_m]Benedict[/name_m], [name_m]Benen[/name_m], [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] or [name_u]Bentley[/name_u]. Or [name_m]Eben[/name_m], [name_u]Korben[/name_u] or [name_m]Harben[/name_m]. [name_m]How[/name_m] about…
So the only one you both like a lot right now is [name_m]Ben[/name_m]? [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]?
2 syllables flows better with your last name… Of course [name_m]Raymond[/name_m] is also 2 syllables… but I like the t ending better than 2 syllables ending in n with [name_m]Raymond[/name_m]. Also R ending names kind of run into the R in [name_m]Raymond[/name_m]. Some ideas:
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u]
[name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] nn [name_u]Max[/name_u]
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] nn [name_u]Sam[/name_u]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] nn [name_m]Wes[/name_m]
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m]
If you don’t mind r ending names:
[name_m]Archer[/name_m]
[name_m]Asher[/name_m]
[name_u]Spencer[/name_u]
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]
