Need help deciding on a boy name....

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there!
My husband and I can’t decide on 2 boy names: [name_m]Miles[/name_m] or [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]. Which name is more solid/less trendy? [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] would be the middle name (after a family member).
Which do you guys prefer?
[name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] or [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m]
Thanks for your input!

Personally, I think [name_m]Miles[/name_m] is less trendy. I have actually only met one little [name_m]Miles[/name_m]. I have known of several little [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]'s the last few years. [name_m]Both[/name_m] names are really nice though, and [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] is great in the middle!

I don’t think either is very trendy, actually. [name_m]Miles[/name_m] is slightly less popular, but both have only moved up 4 spaces in the last year. [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] has been slowly gaining popularity since the early 1990s and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] has been slowly gaining popularity since the late 1990s. They’re both great names, too. But I do personally favor [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m]!

I like both, but I fear [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] has trend written all over it. While it isn’t popular yet, it has so many hallmarks of names that are:

Softer sounds, Irish/Celtic origin, and brought to the masses by a network television character ([name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Ross[/name_m] on Revenge).

[name_m]Nolan[/name_m] rhymes w/colon. [name_m]Miles[/name_m] makes me think ‘pilgrim’. I’d go w/[name_m]Milo[/name_m].

I think I prefer [name_m]Miles[/name_m] but you can’t go wrong with either choice. Congratulations!

I love [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m]. [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] is nice, but it doesn’t flow as well. I would use [name_m]Miles[/name_m] unless you have a 1 syllable surname.

[name_m]Miles[/name_m] 100%

[name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] has a nicer ring to it.

I love [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] as a combo. Makes me think of a strong and silent boy with understated cool. I like [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] but find the combo a mouthful, and picture him a little nerdy. (don’t usually think that way about [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] - just in this combo.)

I don’t think either are ‘trendy’ although they are both moderately popular.

I love [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] (it’s on my list), but I think [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] works better as a combo.

I prefer [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] nn [name_m]Milo[/name_m]. I actually really like [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] [name_m]Miles[/name_m] as well.

[name_m]Nolan[/name_m] reminds me of Revenge (TV show)

Ooh I like both of those! I think [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] has a really nice ring to it. Like he could be a musician, a lawyer or a sports star! [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] has a been a little favourite of mine this year but [name_m]Miles[/name_m] is a real all- rounder

[name_m]Both[/name_m] are great but I prefer [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m].

I think both [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] are handsome, not very trendy. [name_m]Both[/name_m] combos have a good flow. I prefer [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] slightly.

I personally [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_m]Miles[/name_m]. It was on our short list. My friend just named her baby [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]. I think it’s just ok. I vote for [name_m]Miles[/name_m]! You could always call him [name_m]Milo[/name_m] for short.

I really like [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m].

I don’t think either are particularly trendy. I know 3 Nolans: age 30something, 24 and 8. So I think this name is more of an underused classic.

I like [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] the best

My son’s mn is [name_m]Myles[/name_m], so I like [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] has a great flow.

I prefer [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m]. Good luck!
