Need help deciding!

Hello, we are just weeks away from welcoming our baby girl and her name will be [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]! We can’t decide between two middle names - one is a name we love and the other is a family name we also like - so I thought I’d turn to you all for help. Which do you like better?

[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f]
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_m]Corbett[/name_m]

Both go well with the last name. Thank you!

I’d go [name_f]Colette[/name_f] simply because I think [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] and [name_m]Corbett[/name_m] would be great siblings if you have another child.

Definitely [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f] just for the fact that it’s more feminine.

[name_m]Corbett[/name_m] is cute for a boy but does make me think of comedian [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u] [name_m]Corbett[/name_m] which I don’t think works so well for a girl

If you decide which name is more important to you that is the one you should choose as they both work. I personally prefer [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f] because it is feminine and pretty, but if [name_m]Corbett[/name_m] is perhaps your maiden name, that makes it so meaningful that I think it would trump other reasons.

Depends on the significance of [name_m]Corbett[/name_m]. If it’s a random family name, then I’d vote [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f]. If it’s an important one, like your maiden name, I’d vote [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_m]Corbett[/name_m].
