Need Help Finding a Middle Name For Baby Preston!

So my husband and I are expecting our first baby within the next two weeks! and are having trouble finding that perfect middle name.

[name_m]Preston[/name_m] Became our favorite for the first name and it just feels right to keep.

Last Name is two syllables ending in an is* So the trouble is finding a cute middle name that flows well with the on from preston and the is from the last name.

Our debate is whether to have a unique cool middle name or use a name inspired by a family member, since our first name is actually inspired by a movie character.

Our ideas so far for middle are :

[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] ( Grandfather’s name, Fathers middle name) nickname could be PJ
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] ( both maternal Grandfather’s name on both sides) nickname could be PJ
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Tom[/name_m] ( Father’s name - passed) ( older sister already used [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] as a middle name for her son)
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] Stryder (Inspired by lord of the rings but spelled differently)
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Scott[/name_m] ( nickname could be [name_m]Prescott[/name_m])
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Ace[/name_m] ( love ace ventura)
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]

Any opinions of these or suggestions for another name to go with it would be so appreciated!

Thank you

I would use [name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].

[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] is very handsome!

I like [name_m]Preston[/name_m] best with a one-syllable middle name (I adore one-syllable middle names for boys, but especially when the first name is two or three syllables). Especially considering both [name_m]Preston[/name_m] and your last name are two syllables each, I would suggest a short middle name, as it varies the length of names and ([name_f]IMO[/name_f]) improves the flow.

I love your suggestion of [name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Scott[/name_m]. Here are a few more suggestions:

My favorites:
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Gage[/name_m]
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Ford[/name_m]
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Grant[/name_m]
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Wells[/name_m] (might not go with your last name)
[name_m]Preston[/name_m] [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] (might not be your style, but I love the contrast between a very polished name such as [name_m]Preston[/name_m] and a rugged name like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m])
