So I love [name]Penelope[/name] and it is currently between that and [name]Caroline[/name] if our next one is a girl. I want to start trying to pick middle names for both but our last name makes it rough!
Our last name is Pronounced like [name]Winn[/name] but it starts with an N.
So we want something that is more than one syllable so it doesn’t sound choppy with our one syllable last name. We also don’t want vowels or anything that would spell words with our last name. No [name]PAN[/name], [name]PEN[/name], PUN, PIN etc.
Right now the only ones I have been able to think of that my husband likes is [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]. Not sure if it’s too boring?
Thanks for the suggestions! I like [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] the best so far. I’m not sure it’s the one but I am deffinitely going to think about it.
[name]Penelope[/name] [name]Sage[/name] is so pretty but I know my husband would never go for it.
Any other suggestions?
He likes Latin/[name]Roman[/name]/Greek names. Can you think of any that would fit my criteria?
Our daughter is named [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and we have a one syllable last name. I don’t think it sounds choppy, especially because the name [name]Penelope[/name] has 4 syllables. But that’s just my opinion! [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] has a nice ring to it and they’re both Greek names.
I love [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Calista[/name], and [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name]! although I know my husband won’t go for [name]Scarlett[/name]. He says it reminds him of the scarlett letter.
I also got the idea from another thread… what do you guys think about [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Lyra[/name]? too mythological? We both love The [name]Golden[/name] Compass so that’s a bonus
