We are undecided on a sibling name for [name_f]Adele[/name_f], and we don’t know the gender making it all the more difficult.
Some of the leading contenders are:
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
For inspiration, some other names I love but are off limits because others have used them:
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
We lean towards something classic/traditional, and slightly uncommon… also completely lost for middle names. Willing to take more of a risk on the middle name.
The last name starts with “S” so trying not to use a name that start with S or too many S sounds…
I love your daughter’s name! . [name_f]Adele[/name_f] is one of my top 2 names; I would love to be able to use it someday. I’m way more excited than I should be about a little [name_f]Adele[/name_f] out there.
I’ve always loved my other favorites with [name_f]Adele[/name_f] ([name_f]Isobel[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f](ngeline), [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f] (although [name_f]Clara[/name_f] would work too!), [name_u]Tali[/name_u] (or some other [name_u]Tally[/name_u] variant, like [name_f]Natalia[/name_f], [name_f]Thalia[/name_f], or [name_f]Tallula[/name_f]?), [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/Elinor, [name_f]Liliana[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]/Theresa, [name_f]Calanthe[/name_f]/Calandra, etc.), but I think these would be nice too:
Adele and [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Madelaine[/name_f] (too much -adel-?)
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Odelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Katharina[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Petra[/name_f] (totally biased here—my combo is [name_f]Adele[/name_f] [name_f]Petra[/name_f] [name_f]Christiana[/name_f] lol)
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Christa[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and Fiana
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Fiammetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] (love these two together!)
Adele is lovely. I think that [name_f]Margot[/name_f] would be really nice as a little sister. They’re both simple & elegant & a little adventurous. Also, [name_f]Margot[/name_f] & [name_f]Adele[/name_f] both have the [name_u]French[/name_u] vibe. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] isn’t terribly over done either, but I am hearing it a little more often in my area. And also it seems to be on a lot of lists on this site.
As for [name_f]Helena[/name_f], I just can’t get into it. The ‘Hel’ part turns me off, but also the confusion is pronunciation could be an issue. Is it Hel-layne-uh or Hel-uh-nuh? The latter is a little too close to [name_f]Adele[/name_f].
Sorry for any repeats, but here are a few more ideas that you may like:
I really like [name_f]Margot[/name_f] & [name_f]Helena[/name_f] but my favourite is [name_f]Margot[/name_f] with [name_f]Adele[/name_f]. I just love the European flair of this combination.
Middle names for [name_f]Margot[/name_f]…

Margot is so perfect with [name_f]Adele[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] too. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Helena[/name_f] would be gorgeous.
This is a fantastic list, thank you! You’ve hit some new ones I really like and others we’ve considered - [name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_f]Ines[/name_f] (!) - I love it but I’m worried it might be too unusual, and lead to a lifetime of having to correct pronunciation.
Esme, [name_f]Zara[/name_f], and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] are ones I also really liked. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband seems to only like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] out of these though. Thanks!
