Need help w/ strong FN. similar to Hayes

My first sons name is [name]Hayes[/name] [name]Andrew[/name]. I due in 4 weeks with my second boy and having the hardest time with a name. I like short, strong names. Not popular or trendy. The closer it is to not being on the TOP 1000, the better.

I love names: [name]Wylie[/name], [name]Wilder[/name], [name]Roman[/name], [name]River[/name], [name]Everett[/name], [name]Lincoln[/name], [name]Brooks[/name], and [name]Cole[/name].

My favorites are [name]Wylie[/name], [name]River[/name], and [name]Lincoln[/name]. I’ve scoured over Nameberry looking for ideas that aren’t too crazy but unusual enough for my tastes. I do not like traditional first names. The middle name will be [name]James[/name] or [name]Daniel[/name].

Any new suggestions are welcome and thoughts on the names I already love. [name]Wylie[/name] [name]James[/name] keeps coming back to me so insight on that??

I love:

[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Brooks[/name]
[name]Cole[/name]

I like all your name choices, especially [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]. [name_u]Wylie[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] works well. [name_u]Wylie[/name_u] & [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] both sound good with [name_m]Hayes[/name_m].

Perhaps some others:
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]
[name_u]Sterling[/name_u]
[name_m]Jarvis[/name_m] (for some reason I like [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] & [name_m]Jarvis[/name_m] together)
[name_u]Dane[/name_u]
[name_u]Ellis[/name_u]
Zeth (I have a friend with a little boy Zeth, its in their family - very uncommon)
[name_u]Zephyr[/name_u]

[name_u]Wylie[/name_u] - Sorry, I think this is my least favorite on your list. I can’t de-associate it from the word wily, which has a negative connotation.

I like [name_m]Wilder[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m], [name_u]Everett[/name_u], and [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] quite a bit. I like [name_u]River[/name_u], but it sounds kind of weird with [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]. When you say it aloud, it kind of sounds like Hazy [name_u]River[/name_u], you know what I mean?

I think [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] might be one of the next big trends, and it might go unisex, so I’m not sure you want to go there based on what you’ve said. [name_m]Cole[/name_m] is really popular where I am, so I was surprised to see it on your list.

Some others:

[name_u]Dean[/name_u]
[name_m]Wilson[/name_m]
[name_m]Vance[/name_m]
[name_u]Reid[/name_u]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m]
[name_m]Miles[/name_m]
[name_m]Cash[/name_m]
[name_m]Dax[/name_m]
[name_u]Tate[/name_u]
[name_u]Lane[/name_u]
[name_m]Burke[/name_m]
[name_u]Joss[/name_u]
[name_m]Heath[/name_m]

[name_m]Hayes[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is such a handsome name… I like [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] or [name_m]Roman[/name_m] the best with [name_m]Hayes[/name_m].

[name]Wylie[/name], I think of the coyote from road runner!! It’s not necessarily a bad thing but I think I prefer [name_u]Wylie[/name_u] as a nn for [name]Wilder[/name. ([name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is a pretty awesome sibset [name_f]IMO[/name_f])
[name_m]Roman[/name_m][/name] meh, nms, not sure it works with [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] either
[name]River[/name] it’s ok. Again [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] and [name_u]River[/name_u] seem to be different styles but irl very few people would notice.[name]Everett[/name]. Very cute with [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]. [name_m]Evander[/name_m] is another thought?
[name]Lincoln[/name] pretty popular in Aus. Works with [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]. Has [name_m]Linc[/name_m], and [name_m]Cole[/name_m] as nn options.
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m][/name], ok. Definitely makes a good match with [name_m]Hayes[/name_m].
[name]Cole[/name] it’s ok.
