We had a boys name picked out forever ago but now that we’re finally having one (after 3 girls) I don’t feel “sure” about our middle name choices. Help me, please!
Big sisters are [name_f]Auria[/name_f], [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] (Waves, Wavy), and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] ([name_f]Juni[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f], JuJu).
Our boys first name will be [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] and the middle name options we had planned on were:
- [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m]
- [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_u]Jericho[/name_u]
- [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Frederic/name_m - I prefer [name_m]Frederic[/name_m], without a k, Hubs thinks that’s not a real version.
I like all of these names but I just haven’t had that “yes, this is it” feeling yet so I’d love to hear your thoughts on these options, and/or your suggestions for alternatives to consider.
Name criteria:
- Nothing that ends with a B because our last name begins with that letter.
- Prefer a name that is 2 or 3 syllables.
- Although [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] and [name_m]Frederic/name_m are more traditional names, we generally like names that are a bit more out of the ordinary. Not “made up”, just, less common.
