I love [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] too but I agree it doesn’t have the best flow with [name_f]Eve[/name_f].

[name_m]Just[/name_m] a suggestion for [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]'s pronunciation.
From what I’ve seen, [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] can be pronounced with the emphasis on either syllable (in English, usually on the first : SOH-fee), while [name_f]Sofie[/name_f] is almost always pronounced with the emphasis on the second syllable: so-[name_u]FEE[/name_u]). Would you consider the [name_f]Sofie[/name_f] spelling? I feel like this is one case where the less common spelling might work well.
Or, of course, [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] would probably get the emphasis you want.

I am definitely open to the [name_f]Sofie[/name_f] spelling, and your thoughts are completely valid. We had the same concerns which is why we left [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] in the running… the problem is with [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]'s popularity, if we use an f instead of ph for [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] I feel as though spelling would be an issue whenever it came up with the added pronunciation correction. [name_f]May[/name_f] not be worth the trouble… [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] (accent on the PHIE still) is our favorite and I’m not sure how often the middle name will even come up when I think about DD1 and how few people know/remember her middle.
I really like how obvious the [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] “ee” sound is to balance and finish off [name_f]Eve[/name_f] cleanly. My husband also proposed to me with a single, plucked [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] flower so I find the name more meaningful now rather than just elegant ([name_f]Primrose[/name_f] didn’t work with [name_f]Eve[/name_f], we found). Maybe my front runner!
It sounds like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] has a great meaning for you, as well as sounding lovely.
I agree that the pronunciation of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] probably wouldn’t be a big problem in the middle (I say my middle name a bit, when asked for my full name. Other people rarely say it unless they know me quite well).
Whatever you choose will be lovely (though I’m biased - [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sofie[/name_f] are both family names for me )
