I’m due in 8 weeks with baby girl #2 and my husband and I cannot get a name. We already have a girl, [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f].
I think we’ve got it down to two names, although I’m not even sure I’m crazy about either of them… [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], or [name_f]Camilla[/name_f].
What’s your thoughts on these two, and any other suggestions are more than welcome : )
Thanks x
I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] & [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] work beautifully together, but many think that, which is why the sibset is such a common one. I quite like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] & [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] myself - though they begin with the same letter, they don’t have the same sound, and rather than [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] sounding trendy/common/popular, [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] seems to bring this old-fashioned, classy & elegant feel to the two which I like.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] & [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f] would make a nice duo, even though the latter be a little bit of a tongue twister due to the L’s.
I think both [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] sound lovely with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], however you don’t seem in love with either of them.
My favorites with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] would be [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Camilla[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. Best of [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!
I think [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is darling! I prefer [name_f]Camille[/name_f] to [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] but that could just be me, [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] always reminds me of [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]'s new wife (the one that came after [name_f]Diana[/name_f]). But [name_f]Camille[/name_f] has a similar feel and is equally lovely. It seems you gravitate towards vintage or classic names.

My personal picks for you would be: [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] or [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]. I think they stand up to and compliment [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] best. You want an equally soft sounding, feminine, classic name that isn’t too fussy or short. You could also link the girls together by going with another floral or botanical middle name.
