Need some help with boy name inspiration

Hey guys,

I’m new here but am looking for ideas for baby boy names. This is baby#4 for me and the first three are named after Catholic saints. I like classic but uncommon names and am kinda striking out for names that I love. My kids names are:

[name_m]Augustin[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]
[name_m]Lucian[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]
[name_f]Merryn[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]

My spouses name is [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and I would be happy to use that if it weren’t so common. It might end up as a middle name but not positive on that either. Names that I’ve found and liked but aren’t perfect are [name_m]Soren[/name_m] and [name_m]Tynan[/name_m]. They aren’t saints names so I’m not stuck on it having to be but that is a plus.

Anyone have any ideas?

Let’s try some uncommon saint names

Wow, thank you for the list! Lots of ideas… My husband really likes [name_m]Lysander[/name_m].

I love your kiddos names! the PP gave you a great list! My son’s name is also a saint’s name (and his middle is as well!) He’s [name_m]Konrad[/name_m] [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m], so maybe you’d like one of those names.

I also love (sorry for repeats): [name_m]Raphael[/name_m], [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m], [name_m]Aloysius[/name_m], [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], [name_m]Clement[/name_m], [name_m]Bernard[/name_m], [name_u]Francis[/name_u], [name_m]Adrian[/name_m], [name_m]Anselm[/name_m], [name_m]Barnabas[/name_m], [name_m]Basil[/name_m], [name_m]Benedict[/name_m], [name_u]Blaise[/name_u], [name_m]Bruno[/name_m], [name_m]Casimir[/name_m], [name_m]Emmanuel[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_m]Isidore[/name_m], [name_m]Julian[/name_m], [name_m]Kilian[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_m]Titus[/name_m] and [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]!

And if you haven’t checked it out yet, I always direct fellow catholic namers to Sancta Nomina, it’s an awesome website run by a woman named [name_f]Kate[/name_f] who even gives consultations (but contact her soon as she books up quickly!) Here is the link: https://sanctanomina.wordpress.com/

[name_u]Alexios[/name_u]
[name_m]Toussaint[/name_m]
[name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_m]Baptiste[/name_m]
[name_m]Pietro[/name_m]
Nicolos
[name_m]Vital[/name_m]

Another vote for the lovely [name_m]Benedict[/name_m]

[name_m]Lysander[/name_m] was my first thought too after you mentioned [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] being too popular! perfect

Fernan also came to mind (short form of saint name, if that counts!) - [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] is fantastic (although I may be slightly biased there), or something like [name_m]Damian[/name_m], [name_m]Emil[/name_m]/[name_m]Emile[/name_m], [name_m]Fergus[/name_m], [name_m]Giles[/name_m], [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m], [name_m]Marius[/name_m], [name_m]Raphael[/name_m], [name_m]Roderick[/name_m]/[name_m]Roderic[/name_m], [name_m]Samson[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_m]Jonah[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] or [name_m]Ansel[/name_m]. I hope something there strikes your fancy!
